Wake Up in the Morning
Find the Violet attorneys website, select report domestic violence, enter your name, click okay. Enter your address. Click okay. Enter your phone number, click okay. You will receive a notification with details of your appointment. Delete the message and clear your browser history. Serve him food when he comes late in the night. Go to bed, sleep, and hope that you will wake up in the morning.
In the morning, take a shower, wear something decent, apply makeup to hide your black eye. Hear him say where are you headed dressed like that? Say back; I am going to the community volunteer event. Head out, drive towards the event, arrive at the event, do not enter. Keep driving. Look back for any cars following you. Be calm; take the first left diversion after the golf course. The lift will stop on the 7th floor. A violet themed office will be in front of you. This is the Violet attorneys office. Head to where the receptionist is. She will ask for your details then ask you what help you need. Tell her I am here to see Ann; I have an appointment. Hear her say you will have to wait. Go back to the waiting bay, sit on the front row. Take out your phone, put on your earphones, put on music, think about life without him, try and take a selfie, see your damaged face. Find past pictures of yourself, compare with how you look right now.
The receptionist lady will call you. Your time is now. She will lead you to Mrs. Ann’s office. She will open the door for you and lead you in. Tell her thank you. You will explain your suffering; you will show her evidence of the times he manhandled you. Show the scars, free yourself. Listen, as Mrs. Ann asks you why it has taken you this long to come and report the issue. Listen to yourself, say I thought he would change. You will provide your home address, his phone number, and details of where he works. You will sign the documents. Mrs. Ann will ask you to stay. You will not go home immediately. She will assign you to a caretaker. In a few hours, you will be escorted back to your home. Two policemen will watch over your house for the night. The next morning the two policemen will escort you to court, Attorney Ann will welcome you. She will direct you to the courtroom. You will hear her say everything will be alright. Two guards will bring him in. The look in his eyes will be one of remorse, do not give in. The prosecutor will ask you questions, do not divert from the mission. The jury will find him guilty. You will hear the judge say You have been sentenced to five years in prison for domestic assault. That will be the end of your misery. You will be taken back home. At night you will sleep peacefully, knowing that you will wake up the next morning.
