For this assignment, the underdeveloped country is Haiti. The developed country is Germany and the United States. Germany is a developed nation because of its high life quality and a thriving economy for its citizens (Laureate Education, 2012). The most robust economy in Europe is Germany, driven by its highly skilled workforce. In the world, it is the 4th biggest economy. In the Western Hemisphere, Haiti is one of the poorest nations. According to CIA World Fact-book, 80% of Haiti residents live in poverty. In the Western Hemisphere, Haiti is one of the least developed and most densely populated states.

the dominant health care delivery model is designed into three levels: three specialized and five university hospitals offer tertiary care, primary care provided at forty-five community reference hospitals and eight-hundred health centers, and ten departmental hospitals provide secondary care. Both private and public health facilities have a notable presence in Haiti. Germany has what is known as universal multi-payer healthcare systems (Laureate Education, 2012). The system consists of private and health insurance for people who earn more and decide to buy their health cover and statutory health insurance for individuals who earn less than a minimum salary. In the U.S., Health Care Finance involves three main plans that allow healthcare service payments. Government insurances, personal or out-of-pocket funds, and private insurances are the three fundamental ways through which healthcare organizations get their payments for facilities they give. Medicaid and Medicare are the most extensive programs for state insurance. On the contrary, managed care covers involve collecting activities meant to offer health coverage to Americans.
Programs to Assist with Access to Healthcare
Throughout the U.S., many families rely on managed care in getting their desire service-quality in various healthcare facilities (Laureate Education, 2012). Noncontributory social security schemes are social assistance services and programs financed directly by public sources such as state budget in Haiti. In Germany, Healthcare is funded by statutory contributions that ensure free healthcare for all citizens. To top up or replace state cover, one can also take out private health insurance.
Quality Improvement Efforts
While at the same time working on the improvement processes of health qualities, the ministry of health is also working to minimize the healthcare expenses in the U.S. In efforts to guide improvements and quality measurements in the primary care field, the ministry of health in Haiti has invested in Performance Initiatives of Primary Health Care (Laureate Education, 2012). There should attempt to manage costs while maintaining access standards and care quality to promote continuous efforts of health-care reform in Germany.

Germany has the benefits of high-quality health care services, which are reliably managed within a robust public health system for the Germans to enjoy optimal health as a population and as individuals (Laureate Education, 2012). While providing users to purchase private supplementary coverages, pluralistic systems that involve the government and the private sector ensure universal access to healthcare in Haiti.
