Correlation between Domestic and National Terrorism
Domestic terrorism, also known as homegrown terrorism refers to activities that involve violence against a particular nation’s civilian population or infrastructure, by not necessarily citizens of the host country. The essay proposes that that intention of those who perpetrate domestic violence has been to coerce, influence, or intimidate national policy. It closely related with national terrorism, in the context of the feeling there is oppression, denial or rights, especially those accorded others, against a national, religious, ethnic, or any other identifiable group. The Rise of National Terrorism
The United States of America has foes who are hell bent to ensure the country fails to perform its role as a superpower. Since time immemorial, the presidents of USA have tried to identify and destroy any of its foes either by military means, economically or socially. The paper proposes that that violence against American nationals is evident in among the countries foes. The foes relentlessly fight the superpower by attacking each of the measures it is taking to achieve the above obligations through its civilians across the globe. However, some of the tactics and strategies the nation uses create more enemies than friends hence endangering its citizens in enemy countries.. For example, the implementation of USA foreign policy against Palestine and China continues to provoke hatred and revenge both from within and outside, which continues to spark and fuel national terrorism against America as a bad nation that only wants to use its position to ruin other countries.
