Therefore, this is evident in the text when Wan says that there are also several illustrations concerning the purpose of the killer in the plot, as the purpose of the killer and even how the killer performs this act of murder. In my opinion, in the beginning, some individuals perceive that the killer is an irrational individual; some people perceive that maybe it is a madman. Some people think that it is a demon or a monster. However, the shocking co-occurrence is why the killer takes away life but fails to take away the gold; hence, it focuses only on death.
