What are some names of the antichrist?
In the bible, there are several names given to describe both Satan and antichrist or the spirit of Antichrist which is working in today’s world. These names are, the man of the earth (Psalms 10:18) “To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress”. The Enemy, Psalms 55:3 “because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate”. The little horn, Daniel 7:8, The spoiler, Isiah 16:4, The vile person Daniel 11:21.
Why do Christians look forward to the coming of Antichrist?
Christians look forward to the coming of an Antichrist to know when it the end times as described in the book of revelation. The beast talked about in the 1st, and the 2nd John is a concern to many Christians as they wait to prove whether it symbolises the Antichrist or just anyone who opposed Christianity. Christians also believe that once the Antichrist has been identified, they are not far from the second coming of Jesus Christ.
What is the rapture?
Rapture is an end time belief by Christians when Jesus Christ will come for the second time to take them. During this time, Christians believe that Jesus will come to take the living righteous ones and those who died righteously will resurrect to join the rest in heaven for eternal life.
After The Rapture, what will the Antichrist appear as?
At the mid-level of tribulation and struggle after the rapture, there will emerge an Antichrist who will proclaim himself a god and ask the world to bow before him for every favour.
The figure of Antichrist according to religious scholars.
The figure of antichrist are mostly derived from the Jewish traditions, and the medieval texts are talking about the same. Moreover, most Scholars derived the figure of Antichrist from the description in the bible mainly in the book of Daniel.

Apocalypse is the final destruction of the earth as defined by the biblical book of revelation. It means the end of the world. Broadly, the word is used in the bible to express future happenings.

During his reign, there were many cases of abuse made about mistreating Christianity followers. He made laws that inflicted punishment on Christians. This brutality on Christians made them consider him as the talked Antichrist in the bible.

According to revelation, the greatest beast is the dragon that appears from the ocean with seven heads and ten horns. The symbolical heads and horns have been interpreted differently by communities.

According to Revelation 13:11-12, John describes a second beast that emerges from the earth and symbolically to identify the false prophet as a Jew. The fake prophet has horns and speaks like a dragon.

Hippolytus made a commentary on the book of Daniel about the coming of an Antichrist in the end times. He thinks that the second coming of Jesus will be the actual end times talked about in the book of revelation, and the antichrist will be the ruler of all the non-believers of Christianity.

According to him, he says that people are losing confidence and in governments and other authorities since they will associate almost every powerful leader to the Antichrist talked about in the bible. Further, he says that the world will be more open to the gospel, but most people will be vulnerable to the spiritual deception about the coming of an Antichrist and the end time.
When Christians will be taken away to be with Christ, will it be a rapture?
All Christians believe that in the end time, Jesus Christ will come to the world to pick the righteous ones to the heaven where they would live eternally. This time would be a rapture since those left behind will face a lot of challenges and suffering.

The man of lawlessness will try to change time and laws and oppose every biblical way. He will offer false peace to the world, incredible promises, and miracles that unites the world. He will make a covenant with Israel for three and a half years. The seven symbolically indicates the seven years which in the middle he breaks the covenant and demands to be a god.
What place will the man of lawlessness set himself to?
The Antichrist will breach the agreement between him and his believers; after that, he will settle in the temple and claim to be a god. He will sit in the throne of power and prove himself a powerful ruler.
What will the man of lawlessness do?
According to Daniel 7, the man of lawlessness will go against every stand of God; he will turn everything that honour the Bible. However, due to his charismatic personality, he will confuse the world with miracles that will bring peace for a short time.
What will be the fate of those who follow the Antichrist?
The followers of the Antichrist will enjoy the world peace for three years and after that start facing the wrath of the ruthless ruler. During this period, humans will be exposed to a lot of suffering and pain. The lord will then leave them to suffer for another 1000 years before he sets eternal fire.
How does John use the term Antichrist?
According to John in the second book of John 7, he uses the term Antichrist as the deceiver of the world. He changes the nature of God and preaches his gospel to suit their target and to deceive the followers of the antichrist.
