Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns about the information included in your employee file.
We conducted research to find out why the overall output of the company was plummeting. The research findings were, among other things, computer use amongst employees for something other than work projects. To remedy this situation, a series of meetings were conducted, and it was decided by the company management that computer usage be tracked. We installed a “cyber-surveillance” software and Silent Watch to aid in the tracking. The significant reduction of output necessitated this action, and all employees were notified of the same.
The memo sent to all employees was a binding agreement that everyone was subject to the regulations we had put in place. I can confirm that I am not in receipt of any letter indicating anything to the contrary or opposing the remedies. All employees are aware that the present and future of the company is dependent upon their output.
We want to prevent a situation where the company is forced to take stringent measures like retrenchment because of the inability to pay salaries.
Our policy is that when an employee is away on duty, they should acquaint themselves with any new changes by going through their work email upon return.
We acknowledge the talent and work you put in for us, but your request cannot be granted.
