Identifying own strength and weaknesses enable leaders to address weakness areas and use abilities strengths to create positive interaction tendencies to create an enabling environment for members of society to participate in socio-economic and political activities that bring positive change.

Strengths/Advantages

Leaders use their strengths to set an example and show members of the entity that they serve the direction towards growth and development. I use effective communication as a leader to offer guidance to junior members of the organization. Again, I use resilience and hard work to set examples for junior employees, thus encouraging participation in productive activities. Finally, I develop and use trust in daily interactions with junior employees to ensure that we create an enabling environment for sharing ideas and information about work. Weaknesses/Pitfalls

Individual weakness plays a crucial role in downplaying strength; thus, limiting the effectiveness of a leader’s contribution limits interactions with junior members of staff. I plan to register in a human relations training program to facilitate a more profound understanding of the personal relationships that emerge and develop between leaders and members of staff. Secondly, I endeavor to create and foster teamwork among members of the team to ensure the flow of data for decision-making. Finally, I plan to transform the individual relationship in the workplace through an insistence on professional associations to limit the interference of personal relationships. Leaders register for pieces of training and conferences to ensure improvement in leadership skills.

Applying Personal Strengths in Leadership

Identifying strengths enables leaders to create productive relationships with junior employees, thus facilitating the implementation of the leadership process. I would use the trust to create an enabling environment for the employees to share their ideas and views on the production process.
