Subject: Requesting for an internship Opportunity
Love your site and blog on water and sanitation. I have been reading your articles on your website and your company on how water plants should be managed. I have come to like your approach to water and sanitation management. Because of you, I continue to grow my interest in water plant management, and I know I can make a promising career where I can serve the community.
I am currently working as hospitality staff, but I have worked at a water plant in the past, and I realized the excellent work water plant management do to ensure the safety of water source for our city. I am willing to put in the work because I desire to help my city receive better water services and achieve the greater goal of proper sanitation.
To get back to the job I love, I would love to have a chance to work under you and learn from you as an intern for one year. I am willing to work for no pay because I aim to learn from you and work hard to achieve personal goals. If you like my input when working with you, you can assign me some paid projects for an upkeep income. I am sure you will be happy to have me as part of your team at the end of the internship because you will see my input.
- A no letter
Hello, James
Thanks for your patience as ai reviewed your request for an internship opportunity. I can tell from your letter that you are a decent, smart, and hardworking individual from what you indicated in your letter. However, I am afraid to inform you that it is not possible for us to accept any more interns because the human resource management structure allows us only to take three lots of interns every four months. The last interns just joined six weeks ago, and I received your letter last week. I hope you get a chance in another company if you are in a hurry, but if you can wait in the next ten weeks, we will be taking the next lot of interns, and you would be considered for a chance.
All the best,
James Golson
A complaint letter
27 September 2020,
Target Inc. Boston Fenway
1341 BOYLSTON ST, BOSTON, MA 02215-3936.
To whom it May Concern
I am writing to complain about the poor services I received from your delivery and installation team on 21 July 2020. On 20 July 2020, I visited your store to purchase a fridge, and I was well served. However, the delivery and installation services were substandard and have caused miseries in the past few weeks.
On 21 July 2020, your delivery and installation team turned up late on the agreed time for the delivery. I was forced to wait for them because I had a rest period of two hours after my first job. Consequently, I had to arrive at work on that day. The delivery team arrived late and fixed the fridge in a hurry, which resulted in scratching my walls and floors, and poor connection. My fridge continues to incur losses as it experiences power supply problems, which affects the quality of foods. Severally now I have thrown away foods stored in the fridge. I also har to ensure the walls and the floor were repainted. I am disappointed by the services offered because I continue to incur losses despite fixing the ones I could.
I trust that the company will consider future customer service value because I have always shopped with target Inc. If possible, I would like to have the fridge problem fixed. However, I am open to discussing this matter to ensure that it comes to a happy conclusion.
Yours Faithfully,
Ben Consent

Task 5
A source that would be impartial is an Indianapolis Colts fan who has a superiority motive.
A source that would be impartial would be an Apple computer distributor because he/she is interested in expanding her sales.
A Harvard management source would be biased because anyone from the management would want to feel good about their institution.
One informed, impartial source would be a teacher who allows allowing the use of pen and paper and computers to take notes. A second informed, impartial source is a student who initially used a pen and paper to take notes but uses a computer to take notes.
An informed, impartial source would be a hotel owner in Miami who has the knowledge about restraints in Miami but has a personal interest in the issue. A second informed, impartial source is a restaurant manager in Miami who also has the knowledge of the hospitality industry in Miami.
An informed but impartial source would be a Soviet leader who has information on why the Union collapsed but cannot tell the truth. A second informed, impartial source would be the United States because it was an enemy to the Soviet Union.
The argument follows rule #13 because it identifies the source (Lia Miller), the source relies on a study by an aerospace engineer who is identified by his name Massimilano Vasile. The argument follows rule #14 because an aerospace engineer is likely to be informed about asteroids. The argument also follows rule #15 because the engineer has no personal attachment from the study and is unlikely to be biased. Similarly, the argument follows rule #16 because although only one source is cited, it is from 9 different studies, and thus the source is a conclusion of many studies. Rule #17 is followed because the article is from a mainstream media, making it a credible source.
This argument mostly follows rule #13 because while the author of the article is identified (Amanda Taub), the author relies on materials from other Muslim studies scholars whose names are Reza Aslan and Dalia Mogahed. This argument does not follow rule #14 because both Reza Aslan and Dalia Mogahed are informed sources. The source also does not follow rule #15 because the sources are not likely to be biased. The argument follows Rule #16 is followed by two sources Reza Aslan, a religious studies scholar, and Dalia Mogahed, the Director of Research at a non-partisan thinking tank studying Muslim-American life. Rule #17 is not followed because it is from an internet source or digital media whose credibility is still questionable.
