Reflection on Electrical and computer engineering
The current video illustrates the possibilities and opportunities in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. It starts with enticing examples of real-life applications of the knowledge of an electrical and computer engineer. I have always been interested in technology, along with that. I enjoy doing maths and studying physics. The introduction of the video itself got my attention and interest in seeing the whole video. I have been looking for this type of career option. They described the difference between electrical engineering and computer engineering. Spencer Haney, an electrical engineer, said that he had the chance to work on the “Project Jacquard while working at Google Advanced Technology.” This project enables the user to touch any fabric, and the information on the fabric will be sent to their mobile phone. I have always wanted to work on projects like this one. If electrical engineering is the route that leads to working on projects like this, I am more than happy to choose Electrical Engineering as my career option. The information that the students provided about their internship was also fascinating. There is a chance that I might find myself working with any big company on some cutting-edge technology as an intern. Students say that they spend their summer internship at a satellite manufacturing company, nuclear power plant, or pharmaceutical company. I can say that having to do an internship like these students is a great opportunity for any electrical/computer engineer to learn what the current technology is capable of and how they work. This enhances the skills and introduces the students to the most advanced technologies available in multiple industries. Lastly, the overall video is educational and influences anyone who is attracted to technology and wants to create something of worth for the world.
