POVERTY AND DISCRIMINATION

Modern society tends to discriminate against the poor people from the wealthy since it is believed that their laziness causes the low state. Forbes, an article in the United States, carefully notes that familiar retailers continue to acquire wealth even amid the Corona Virus Pandemic period, and the Investors and consumers are winning. Within a few days after America began issuing guidelines on solitary, the peddle scenery began undergoing a basaltic alteration. Customers felt so much worried about the lockdown statement and began shopping in bulk. For instance, they populated retail shops of tissue paper, cleanser, and even conserved water. The Amazon, then devastated by a colossal boost in computations, were stumbled. The consignment was deferred and freights of luxury articles. As this happened, the sad part was that the poor people were never considered to require the same needs. The article reports that the retailers could even increase the prices of their commodities and the result could just be increased poverty.

Despite acceptance in the one thousandth anniversary Declaration of the significance of human freedom, equity, and non-favoritism for progress. The basic human freedom promises of equity and non-favoritism are lawfully adhesive orders and mandates and do not require any serious vindication. Discrimination has a serious potential of causing beggary and complicating the alleviation of the same. Alike some nations which have experienced noticeable profits regarding the attainment of Millenium goals, still inequity has rapidly grown. The Millenium Development Goals (MDG) have always sustained corporate breakthroughs, always with no recognition of the significance of devoting in the most demeaned and isolated. Just as stated in the introductory statement, society rejects the poor. There are classes that always accommodate these groups. The rich then take advantage of amassing wealth in order to maintain their wealth. This is mostly done in situations where compulsory commodities have to be sold, and therefore the lowly in the society realizes no option but to adhere to the set prices.

The level of discrimination in the article provided moves about to unveil also the role of racism in connection with poverty. Those with dark colors in America are always exposed to the danger of poverty because most of the white people do believe they should be laborers, and worst of all, no right of ownership of any wealth in the United States. Financial service is always an essential part of any economy. During the Coronavirus period, it comes out clearly that most of the Americans could not participate in the growth of the economy since most people operated indoors. It meant, therefore, that the average citizens had no hope of getting rich any sooner but instead get drained and remain poorer. As the retail shops were becoming more advanced in terms of technology, jobs, even the indoors ones, were proving to be more complicated, and companies had to boost income and gratuity to appeal to and make employees stay. In conclusion, the article acts as a perfect reflection of the society in accordance with its treatment of the different classes of inhabitants. It is always a desire to try and eliminate poverty, but the techniques for realizing this, in most cases, appear absurd. The poor should never be discriminated against, but much hope is given in terms of aid to encourage equity in society.
