My greatest Skill
During my childhood stage, life was not as good as some children have experienced it. My own was full of economic challenges and depression due to my parent’s divorce that happened when I was young. Coping at school was so challenging that at some point, I had to repeat a class due to poor grades. Mathematics and English were my worst performed subjects. But despite being faced with this challenge, my mother was nowhere to help, and my dad was always busy trying to fix things to ensure my needs were met. This difficult childhood life taught me various life lessons, and it is through it, I realized my greatest skill of being a self-motivator.
After going through the worst experience as a teen, I started performing things just like an adult during my early years. Faced with the implications of my parents’ divorce and their status as immigrants, I decided I needed to get a better life. Also, being the firstborn child, I had responsibilities awaiting for me. Worst of all is that besides his bad health condition, my dad had no working permit. The desire for a better life pushed me into setting goals and fulfilling them. As a self-motivator, I enrolled for a part-time job, but I managed to get a full-time job within a short time. It is after this that I began to see a change in my life and my family.
Concerning my achievements, I must recommend myself for being a good self-motivator. I bought my first car at a very young age. Apparently, I am in the process of getting my dad’s citizenship. Meanwhile, I have already made him a retirement account. I have managed to attach a net worth to myself. Even though it is not as great as that of Mark Zuckerberg, or Oprah Winfrey, one of the world’s richest people, I am pleased with where I am.
