John Markson
John Markson is a successful business entrepreneur. He has been in the manufacturing industry since the year 2010. Before opening his own Business, John worked as a CEO in one of the famous gasoline companies in Texas for about ten years. During that time, the company’s annual revenue rose from $75 million to $300 million. One of his attributes is his excellent business communication skills that make him cross deals wherever he encounters one. He is a proactive participant who leads by example and ensures that everyone in his boat remains positive in all the companies activities. He is an excellent listener and is not quick to give out his opinion or judgment but will sleepover information before relaying his conclusions. He believes in teamwork, and despite being in a high profile position most of his years, he is always keen to learn from his juniors. He stays focused on the goals of the company and will still communicate his fears, worries, and success to the employees in a friendly, open, and transparent manner. John loves to help others develop, especially effective communication, and will spend his free time writing books on communication.
He is a third-born son in a family of five members and is married to Sussana. The couple has three children; two boys hand a daughter. They live in their home in Houston and live with his aged parents. He is a great footballer, and at times plays volleyball. John loves traveling places with his immediate family and writing books. He loves swimming during his leisure time and playing tennis.
I have written my profile in the third-person perspective to help hook the audience to the content. Profile written in the first person is perceived are faked and without correct information, but when written in a second-person perspective, the readers are likely to believe the content. It is about my professional achievements. I have highlighted my greatest attribute that has driven me this far and narrowed it to specific skills that have seen me climb the ladder of success. I have also written precisely about my family and my hobbies. The hobbies may appear many, but I alternate them to avoid getting bored with one activity every time I have some time away from the office. For example, I may play or watch football for one week and play volleyball next. Writing is a hobby, as well as a legacy I want to leave behind when I cease from the earth to help generations in making their business lives better.
I have begun with my most current professional activity, which is owning a manufacturing firm. The reason I have started with it is to let readers know my current position, economically and socially. Then I had written about some years back when I was a CEO of gasoline and highlighted on my achievement than to make readers know my capability as an employee and what drove me starting my business. Of course, when you make other people’s business successful, you cannot help being tempted to begin yours, and that is what I did. I have used informal language and designed it in a friendly manner to make it easy for the readers to connect with the content. For instance, I do not have to write my professional years before becoming a CEO because they already know that I cannot become a successful CEO if I were a failure in the previous years.
It was quite easy to write my professional achievements and the communication skills that have lead to my success. I found its way to arrange my work and to communicate my ideas in a friendly language and tone. However, writing my hobbies was not very easy because some of them are more than hobbies. For example, I was a professional footballer for many years become I began succeeding in my profession. Today, I play it partly as a hobby and partly to teach new aspiring footballers. Therefore putting a distinction was not easy. I also play volleyball in clubs, and we do entirely. We get some income from it, which makes it very hard to know whether it should be called a “side hustle,” or a hobby.
Writing about my family was quite challenging because I have always kept them away from my business. I mean, I do not mention then often, and I did not know what to include and what not to include. I have to sit back and think about what I would like to know about other people. For instance, I would like to know where they live, something about their family. Are they married, and do they have children? I answered those questions and believed that my leaders would get all their answers about me answered. I also included all the things I love doing. Like I like swimming though not as much as those other activities.
