Hiring a C.E.O
Shamrat, a great question there. When hiring a C.E.O, is it best to outsource or select internally? I believe both may be great places to select from and have their benefits and downside. It depends on the available personnel. If someone is qualified and meets the qualifications, expresses great leadership qualities, understands the company’s operations well, and aims at ensuring the organization’s objective are met, why not give such a person a chance? This would motivate the other staff that the company acknowledges their efforts and rewards them. The challenge lies when no suitable person is identified from within the organization. This would be the best instance of outsourcing. Hiring a C.E.O is a sensitive issue that needs a lot of factors to be considered. It is not a question of whether to outsource or select internally, but rather who is more suitable to take the company forward?
