Introduction

In current society, there is a rise in health-related issues. A lot of people are affected by health issues regarding weight, high blood pressure, and rise in the levels of blood sugar among others. These problems are becoming more common among elderly members of society. Following the increase in such cases, various individuals and health institutions have tried to come up with ways that can help people escape the trend. The best way to ensure that one is physically fit at all times is by participating in daily physical exercises. The report published by the University of Sydney on 21st February 2019, supports that people who are facing challenges such as an overweight, need to get involved in the physical exercises to help them gain physical fitness. This paper, therefore, aims at summarizing the report, relating it to the topics of health education, and the analysis of the experience and ideas gained after reading through the report.

Summary

Physical fitness is attributed to as little activities as the ones that can only make an individual to get an opportunity of making short and sharp bursts. These activities can be understood and engaged through introducing the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) science to the society members. The activities are commonly known to be part of the High-Intensity Incidental Physical Activity (HIIPA). Getting involved in these activities enables a person to have a period of puffing and huffing. According to the report, huffing and puffing even for a short period can cause a great change in the health of an individual, “Regular incidental activity that gets you huffing and puffing even for a few seconds has great promise for health.” (The new exercise trend that’s made for everyone, 2019). Therefore, it is encouraging to get involved into such little activities especially when one cannot affords to attend heavier programs such as games.

Various factors determine the activities that an individual should consider to help him or her to stay physically fit. Such factors are inclusive of age, gender, occupation, and weight of an individual. Following these factors, the intensity of physical activities varies from one individual to the other. The high-intensity physical activities are the activities that are good enough to help a particular individual in maintaining his or her physical fitness at its optimum levels. Hence, people can determine the intensity of various physical activities to themselves through the consideration of the effect of the listed factors to their bodies. The factors also can be used to determine the frequency recommended for the physical fitness of various individuals. The report states that short duration physical activities should be incorporated into the daily routines of people. According to the report, fitness can be maintained by individuals engaging in the HIIPA sessions in more than three times in a day.

Relation to health topics

The report is related to the health topic of exercises and physical fitness in all the ways. Keeping fit helps an individual to keep away from il conditions such as obesity, heart attack, and diabetes. Exercising on a daily basis helps an individual to break fats in the body that lead to conditions such as heart attacks and obesity. It also helps to control the amount of blood sugar and hence controlling the conditions related to the imbalance of blood sugar. Hence, to keep physically fit, people should embrace physical exercises.

Lessons and conclusion

The article enabled me to understand that the physical activities that an individual should consider for his or her physical fitness vary from person to another. Various factors such as sex, age, and body weight of individuals lead to the differences experienced. It also helped me to learn that every type of physical activities has a great help to the health of individuals. However, not all of them are enough for sufficient fitness. Therefore, it is advisable to incorporate physical exercises in medical treatments to help in improving the efficiency of health systems.
