Ethics plan

Every business organization needs to make regular comparisons between the actual behaviours of their employees and how employee behaviour is guided in the right procedures and policies. It is easier to make comparisons between the actions of the employees and policy directives when the ethics-related policies are more specific and descriptive. As a manager of Paradigm Toys, I have to conduct the company’s ethics audit, and if I find the need for ethics training, I will report to the board of directors for them to perform affirmative actions. The essence of an ethic audit is to ensure that social workers are provided with the most appropriate ways of practice identifying the pertinent ethical issues in their work settings.

Every business organization is required to adhere to the Corporate Social Responsibility in its performances which is done through giving back to the community in different ways. The essential purpose of why business organizations are required to give back to their communities is because other than making profits and achieving economic growth. Business organizations are required to bring positive value to their societies (Kross, n.d). Most new businesses like Paradigm Toys have adopted to CSR so that they can build complementary brands associated with them and make significant differences upon their communities.

In Paradigm Toys business organization, our activities are significantly influenced by the stakeholders who are divided in terms of primary and secondary. The two major primary stakeholders in Paradigm Toys business are our customers and employees. We greatly value our customers because our company generates profits from them. The key reason why Paradigm Toys company has achieved significant growth over the years is because of the loyalty of our customers. We believe that our achievement of customers’ loyalty is as a result of our regular quality delivery of durable products (Franch et al., 2010). Our other primary stakeholders are our employees because they are the ones who are responsible for ensuring that Paradigm Toys Business continues to produce and supply products according to their demand through their labour. We greatly value and appreciate our employees because, through their effort, we have been able to achieve more growth. Some of the secondary stakeholders involved in Paradigm Toys company are our competitors and business partners. Our business partners conduct similar operations with us, and through our partnerships, we have learnt a lot of issues in business practice. Through partnerships with great companies, Paradigm Toys company has learnt advanced business and marketing strategies, strategies to achieve growth of clients, reasonable financial goals to set up, appropriate business performance goals to develop and proper business management skills. The reason why we categorize our competitors as part of our secondary stakeholders is that they have also made significant contributions to our growth. The competitors have helped us achieve our growth in business. This is because they have made us adopt more creativity in our practices that improved the qualities of our products and relationships with our customers which are the most important factors to consider in business practices.

In Paradigm Toys organization, we greatly value our primary and secondary stakeholders; hence, we ensure that our decisions and practices meet the CSR for the stakeholders. One of the tips that we follow to adhere to the corporate responsibility of our company is creating a work program in the workplace that is healthy and safety (Laasch & Flores, 2015). Our crucial commitment as a great company is to ensure that our employees work in a healthy and safe environment that enables them to do more comfortably. We also ensure that all our business performances are committed to protecting the environment by avoiding environmental pollution so that our customers can live in a healthy and safe environment.

All business leaders need to showcase ethical leadership in all their practices and decisions that affect their companies. Through ethical leadership, business leaders promote their employees to conduct themselves appropriately in their workplace through their interpersonal relations and individual actions (Perry, 2018). Before choosing a particular business leader, it is essential to assess whether they adhere to ethical leadership responsibilities in their efforts. The critical characteristics of ethical leaders are; honesty, humanity, proper decision-making, respect and justice.

Business organizations are expected to develop ethical cultures and adopt them in their performances because the primary role of doing business is to have positive impacts upon particular societies. Through carrying out business activities according to the ethical cultures outlined, business organizations earn respect from their communities. According to ethical business cultures, business organizations are required to ensure that their activities are conducted honestly, responsibly and appropriately (Perry 2018). Ethical cultures have helped to improve the morale of employees in many business organizations over the years. Further advantages of ethical cultures in business organizations are; enrichment of organizational commitment and promotion of retained and involved workforces.

It is not easy to foster an ethical culture in a business organization, but through following appropriate procedures and requirements, it is possible. The critical issue that matters in promoting ethical cultures in business organizations is leadership. Therefore, in Paradigm Toys business organization, leaders must ensure that the company fosters an appropriate ethical culture that can be favourable for every stakeholder involved in the business. The most important thing that Paradigm Toys leaders need to do is to outline clear expectations about the right and wrong things in the company. Paradigm Toys leaders also have to individually showcase the appropriate behaviours in their performances so that the employees can follow suit. From modelling the desired actions by Paradigm Toys leaders, they can then reinforce the kind of behaviours that they want their employees to showcase in their performances (Jondle, 2013). Moreover, it is crucial for business leaders to foster ethical cultures in their business organizations by the focus on building their skills and the skills of the employees to ensure that every member of their organization has the abilities to solve various problems affecting their operations. Paradigm Toys leaders also have to provide the appropriate tools that their employees need to conduct themselves ethically and provide corrective feedback in case of any trouble.

The ethical audit is very significant for business organizations in many ways because it is a guide on the behaviour of employees. Therefore, in Paradigm Toys, the proper audit will be of significant value. Through the ethical audit, it will be easy to improve the legal compliance of the organization by identifying potential liabilities and risks. The improvement of Paradigm organization’s performance will depend on the ethical audit that will be made, which will improve the relationships between different stakeholders in the business.

Many business organizations face ethical dilemmas in their practices. It is vital for businesses to create appropriate frameworks to deal with ethical dilemmas appropriately. The most significant ethical dilemma in business organizations is generating higher profits by offering low-quality products. When business organizations utilize their internal knowledge to exploit their customers, they are said to be controlling them. To solve the ethical dilemma of managing customers, business organizations need to ensure that they perform their business activities according to the appropriate principles, conduct regular debates about moral choices, involving balance sheet approach and performing strategic management according to the ethical requirements (Kaptain, 2020). The most appropriate solution for dealing with the ethical dilemma that I recommend is having precise knowledge about the right principles and performing business activities according to them. The reason why I recommend the solution of knowing the correct principles is because the principles are the essential guides that make business practices successful.

It will be appropriate to conduct an ethical training program in Paradigm Toys that would cover relevant ethical topics that employees and stakeholders need to learn from. The three key issues that I will cover in the proper training program are; ethical leadership, toxic cultures in workplaces and conflicting unrealistic business goals. The reasons why I would include the three topics is because most business organizations are faced with unethical leadership practices, toxic workplace cultures and setting of conflicting and unrealistic goals. The training program should, therefore help Paradigm Toys organization to deal with those issues appropriately. In the training program, the most appropriate delivery method will be doing presentations and lecturing. The reason why presentation and lecturing are the most appropriate method of delivery is that it enables learners to gain a lot of information from their tutors and facilitators according to their needs.

Proper management of ethics in business organizations has enabled them to achieve significant benefits over the years. Most business organizations have adopted to implement the right kind of practices that contribute to substantial improvements in their societies. Moral courses have been maintained through appropriate ethical programs. Most business organizations have achieved strong teamwork and responsibilities among their employees through proper management of ethics. Furthermore, the growth of employees and the avoidance of criminal acts in business organizations have been achieved by focusing on ethical responsibilities.
