Comparison of national exam performance of different ethnic groups.edited
From the biopsychosocial point of view on the interpretation of behaviour why on a national test white groups tend to do better than Hispanic and black minorities whereas Asians who are also a minority do well than the previous groups.
The interdisciplinary that concerns the interconnection between phycology, biology, environmental factors and health.
Neighbourhood effects- economic hardships around the place where the minority groups come from, and not the Asian American tend to make their performance low. This may be due to no role models in the region due to slow speculative progression areas where they reside. The teaching workforce and materials used for learning may not be rigorous in high dearth area than in noble schools.
High-risk behaviours; this has significantly affected learners from minor groups in poor localities. Drug abuse, hooliganism fights as they try to fit into the neighbouring communities, bullying and these have significantly affected the performance of these students/pupils from lower socio-economic status, unlike those from better families who attend noble schools.
Why Asian-American do well
. – as a unique hyper selective migrant group, they tend to belief that outstanding academic achievements are fruits of greater effort and not skills and this interconnection has greatly elaborated the superior academic results of this group and this has made the education of parents and the children of this particular group to be connected, whereas, greater percentage of the whites, Hispanic and the blacks are believing contrary to this as they trust most on good job performance after a 4 year degree course in a university.
Attend better schools-since they have higher average household incomes and this this makes them manage to pay for and live in a better geographical location where they can access these schools. Most whites, Hispanic and the Black Americans families earn a lower average income per household.
