AVERSIVE RACISM THEORY Aversive racism theory describes the elusive racial comportments of any given ethnic group who vindicate their aversion to a precise group by application of rules and being stereotypic. Aversive racism exemplifies the predispositions of the politically liberal and trusts that they are not biased, but whose mental state and beliefs are conveyed or depicted indirectly by denying their racial enthused behavior. In this case, the independent variable is the mental status of the ethnic groups. The dependent variable is the inequality amongst the ethnic groups involved. The manipulation of the independent variable can be done through mental engagement to the members of the different ethnic groups to change their stereotypic mental way of thinking which in turn do away with the stated rules that promotes inequality among the ethnic groups. The dependent variable will be measured by the rate of disparity amongst the different ethnic groups. The quantitative method would be used to take the statistics of the inequality rate through polls, questionnaires, and surveys. My hypothesis on this experiment is that if the mindset of…

Attachment Theory In the current case, Tiffani is demonstrating an insecure-avoidant attachment. In this pattern, the child pulls away from the guardian or parent for not being sensitive to her needs. The child does not rely on the comfort or assistance of the parents, even when she is in distress. The caregiver’s low sensitivity makes the toddler minimize her attachment behaviors (Spruit et al., 2020). Babies form firm emotional bonds with caregivers who are sensitive to their needs. The child becomes securely attached when their caregivers remain consistent in responding sensitively to them. The caregiver’s sensitive responsiveness to the toddler’s care needs enables the young one to develop secure attachment where he seeks closeness and comfort when in distress (Gross, Stern, Brett & Cassidy, 2017). Nevertheless, Tiffani’s parents failed to give her the necessary emotional and social support. The lack of love from the mother and abuse by one of the family members are the roots of the avoidant attachment. Tiffani pulled away from her mother because she was insensitive to her need for love. She found it uncomfortable…
Atrial Fibrillation Introduction of the Disease Atrial fibrillation is a type of supraventricular arrhythmia that causes atrial dysfunction, making it to quiver rather than beat. It will result in an irregular and fast heartbeat rate. This malfunction in the atria due to electrical signal disharmony will hinder its contraction thus pumping of blood to the ventricles is altered (William and Wilkins, 2017). The CDC (2019) reports that atrial fibrillation poses a burden globally as it is the most diagnosed type of heart arrhythmia. In countries such as the United States, atrial fibrillation has a reported incidence of between 2.7 million and 6.1 million with its prevalence expected to rise not only in the country but globally. In Australia and Europe, the prevalence has been estimated to be between 1% and 4%. Etiology and Risk Factors According to Lilly (2016), the exact cause of atrial fibrillation is unknown but studies have shown that it can be related to injury of the heart or its muscles. It can also be as a result of congenital anomalies, cardiovascular drugs and diseases. There are…
Basic Concepts and Algorithms of Association Analysis Association analysis is the process that expects transactions to be in a particular format. The input grid data should be binomial with each column having items and a row as a transaction. Transactions that contain IDs can be tagged or ignored as a special attribute. If a dataset is in another format, it should be to this transactional format. These can be done by the use of the data transformation operators. The output of the conversion fro, numerical to binomial gets connected to the FP- Growth operator which is supposed to generate frequent itemsets(Addi, et al.,2015). Basic association analysis only deals with the occurrence of items with another. Other analyses may deal with the occurrence of quantity, sequence, and price of the occurrence among others. There are various steps to finding the association rules by use of data mining(Addi, et al.,2015). The first step involves preparing the data into the transactional format since association algorithms require input data to be in a specific format. The second step involves short-listing item sets that occur…
Thematic Exhibition For the research on developing a thematic exhibition, we will explore the theme of Dynamic artworks with the Aphrodite of Milos being the main object. In art, visual dynamics is the energy that visual elements create in art composition. In essence, dynamic artworks are unique as they can give a visual of action as opposed to the fixed ideas by static artwork. Thus, they open the world to different views and conversations about society. The sculpture of Venus de milo has been thought throughout history to describe art that grows and changes. According to Andrew et al., 2018, its shape is believed to be the expression of ideal beauty; the body of the statue conforms to the golden ratio of the human body. Therefore, the research will focus on the importance of dynamic artwork with the Aphrodite of Melos being the main object. The other art pieces that will support the study will include Diana of Versailles, Donatello’s Bronze David, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Dynamic artworks express the smooth flow of the eye, which is guided…
Reflection Technological advancements in the field of nursing have led to a shift in the record-keeping method from the traditional paper-based method to the emerging electronic media records (EMR). Since the new technology has considerable impacts on patient outcome and safety, having a clear understanding and knowledge on how to use EMR is an essential skill for all nurses, including novice nurses. A study by Miller et al. (2014) was conducted to identify the presence, if any, of a knowledge gap between acute care novice nurses’ skills and knowledge and the skills required to maintain records using EMR. The study concluded that despite the importance of EMR in acute care, there are knowledge and skill gaps in close to half of all areas covered by EMR. The results indicate the need for a collaborative approach between all concerned parties in providing knowledge and training to the novice nurses where needed (Miller et al., 2014). Introduction of EMR in healthcare has revolutionized the way operations are undertaken in the industry and has been associated with numerous benefits and challenges. The benefits…
We could have been Canada, by Adam Gopnik is an interesting article that looks at the ideology of the American Revolution urging us to ask whether the Revolution was a bad idea and whether the injustices and violence that is part of American life persists not despite the virtues of the founding fathers but because of them. To the author, the Revolution might have been a needless and brutal aspect of slaveholder’s panic mixed with Enlightenment arguments producing a nation that was always marked for violence, disruption, and demagogy. This article shatters our long-held beliefs and makes us question what we always believed to be true because like all good articles, it makes effective use of rhetorical skills as explained below: Logos: Gopnik, in most parts of the article, relies on logic to convince the reader on the merits of his argument. He begins by pointing to Canada and Australia both British colonies like America, which peacefully evolved from England as a possible destiny for the United States if it had no revolution. To him, without the Revolution, slavery…

Cybersecurity Planning and Management Cyberattacks have been prevalent in recent times with the surge experienced in internet users. Phishing refers to a form of attack that involves deploying email using spoofing techniques with the intent of obtaining data and credentials from the target. Phishing kits are open source and provide a convenient assembly of well-written malicious code to the general public, including individuals with minimal coding skills furthering the cyberattacks era. Phishing disguises themselves as a trusted organization and often append messages relating to a service disturbance or a warning message indicating some form of penalty if the user tends to ignore (Aleroud & Zhou, 2017). A link is typically provided that directs the target to a website that resembles that of the real organization. A customer is asked for credentials when logging in before being transferred to the original webpage. The URL appears legitimate as foreign characters are used to disguise the URL’s (Hong et al., 2020). The Netflix premium account allows streaming with four screens simultaneously, and I registered with my email address. A notification from the Netflix…
