Abstract The emergence of numerous green solutions to be considered in the supply chain system is responsible for ecological problems and the increasing pressure from the government. The effects of green technologies and human error on the vendor buyer supply chain system by considering two carbon emissions strategies, including the carbon taxation and limited total carbon emissions, have been addressed in this paper. It entails inspection of every shipped lot by the buyer to identify the defective products that could have resulted from the vendor’s production process. The inspection process becomes challenging for the buyer due to the classification of defective and non-defective products. A mathematical model is derived in two different scenarios to minimize total integrated cost. This involves designing an algorithm to achieve optimal conditions that are shown numerically. The effects of varying the central parameter values on the optimal solution are performed by sensitivity analysis. Introduction The common practice in the international market is the integrated inventory management system, and it provides economic benefits both to the seller and the buyer. Most integrated inventory…

These make the company as a critical player in the industry. The company has entered into a different partnership that has seen the country establish widely on other areas such as infrastructure, digital infrastructure and renewable energy, among others. According to (Stutts, 2020), the company diversification of it is invest has seen it survive under different economic conditions. While are economic uncertainties in UK and European region, the effect is likely to affect all industry especially ones operating in those areas. BAM has established in these areas and the company…
The module explores the issues of access to language programs together with recognition of the foreign educational qualifications and also work experience. All these issues are relating to race, gender and class and how they impacted experiences of women as settle in Canada. The argument is that aspect of settlement together with multicultural policies and programs has focused a lot on cultural diversity (Carr, 2009). However, it should concentrate on inequalities that exist in ethnic and racial categories of individuals. In a certain way, multicultural policies have constructed and reconstructed gender and racial inequity. Indeed, the history shows that it has done little to combat racism, ethnocentrism, sexism or classism in the work experience of immigrant women. A perfect example which shows inequality based on gender and race is about renaming the brand of Quaker Oats that features auntie Jemima. It is acknowledged that the brand is highly based on racial stereotype as it features a black woman who has mockery history of American – American women (Thompson, 2015). The criticism against the brand has renewed national debate that has…
Its widely accepted that at some point the state has to intervene in private family affairs. Some societal doctrines that justify an abused wife or beaten wife no longer hold. However, some families use individual family policy to carry out maltreatment and other cases, such as foster care (Kenneth et al., 2016). It is therefore vital to explore into how the state can intervene in private family. In this discussion, I would like to argue that the doctrines of the private family are hard to follow, and the idea of non-involvement of the state is misguided and has more harm than good to the society. It is hilarious how people to a great extent advocate that the government should refrain from intervening in the private family matter while having the perception that the state should at times chip in to prevent abuse or rectify inequality. I, therefore, declare policies of state “intervention” and “nonintervention” incoherent. I will use the idea of a free market as a comparison to support this claim. In this domain (free market), the laws are clear…
Global Effects of Xenophobia and Racism Xenophobia refers to dislikes and fear for individuals who are considered to be foreigners settling in a given nation (Shaib, 2019). It expresses the recognized conflict between domestic and foreign, and it substantiates in part as conflict or fighting between two groups. Racism refers to discrimination of persons according to color, the group which is marginalized or minor in the nation (Shaib, 2019). Xenophobia and racism are practiced all over the world. It is vital to address and propose the solution of racism and xenophobia since it is a problem affecting all the countries in the world. They are stern measures that can be imposed to eradicate the spread of racism and xenophobia in the world. First, each nation must acknowledge the diversity of every culture, regardless of gender and race. Respecting other country’s culture encourages harmony and unity among citizens. Cultural diversity aids to comprehend the struggles of every race and recalling that it brings humans together mostly during crisis times like corona health pandemic crisis in the whole world (Macedo, 2015). Cultural support…
What is hemp milk? Hemp milk is a drink made from the seeds of the hemp plant. It’s made by mixing hemp seeds and water to get the hemp milk. It’s naturally delicious to top it up and contains no flavours or cholesterol. Hemp milk is also gluten and soy-free. Did you know that according to statistics, 33% of Americans are lactose intolerant? (https://www.statisticbrain.com/lactose-intolerance-statistics/) Hemp milk is a suitable and healthy alternative for people with lactose intolerance as it contains no gluten or soy. Gluten and soy found in some milk types trigger reactions in people who are lactose intolerant. It can be used like any regular milk meaning it can be added to tea or coffee, cereals, smoothies or milkshakes. Some people find it a bit too light for coffee, but it depends on how you like your coffee. The protein…
From the hypothesis, it is evident that the research point of interest is on the presence of actin and myosin in different fish species. The results show that the two saltwater fish, which are the salmon and cod species, did not have the targeted proteins. Saltwater contains a high percentage of dissolved substances, with the earth’s seawater having an average of 3.5% salinity (Gordon, 2017). In contrast, the freshwater bodies have an average salinity of 0.05% due to less dissolved substances. Saltwater is, therefore, denser than freshwater. With that in mind, it is a known fact that denser water increases buoyancy. The buoyancy helps streamlining the fish further and, therefore, lesser friction while gliding through water (Davis, 2019). The saltwater fish, therefore, needs smaller strokes to slip further than their freshwater counterparts. Therefore, the freshwater fish needs more massive and more complex muscles as an adaptation. The need for larger muscles stimulates the adaptive features in the fish to synthesize more actin and myosin. The actin and myosin are directly responsible for movement (In Ryall, 2017), meaning that the enormous…

Capital gains America: Differences between long-term and short-term cap gains A capital gain infers selling a capital asset for a higher amount than the price you paid for it. The tax you are required to pay for capital assets depends on the period you had with it before selling. Therefore, these gains are categorized as long-term and short-term capital gains. Long-term capital gains are derived from assets that are helpful for a period longer than a year. However, I did not administer any Tylenol. Also, his blood pressure has dropped from 146/88 to 120/76. Besides, his pulse has continuously been rising from 98 at 0730 to 130 at noon. Mr. M seems to be sleepy and lethargic. The patient passes a scant amount of urine. Mr. M’s abdomen appears to be tender. However, his skin feels warm and flushed. As a geriatric patient, the neurological assessment indicates that Mr. M is quite disoriented. An examination of his lungs demonstrates that there are fine crackles audible on auscultation in the lower lung areas. His pulse oximetry at noon was 88%. Request/Recommendation In this case, it would be appropriate to administer Tylenol to help control Mr. M’s body temperature. Also, it is essential to carry out urine analysis tests; pyuria and hematuria, to determine the causes of the patient’s inability to pass urine. Meanwhile, a urinary catheter should be able…
