Zombie Economics Zombie Economics The primary purpose of this article is to portray how there existed economic inequality among Americans. The Native Americans feel that the immigrants are too many and have come to take the available economic opportunities from them. The Americans thus feel insecure as they fear they may end up depending on the immigrants for their survival. The author describes how the Americans fear the foreigners who have taken up their jobs and homes, and thus they fear they may end up losing their livelihood to the immigrants (Quiggin, 2012). According to this article, the zombie metaphor is used to relate to economics. Zombies can be described as mindless monsters, but they still have to work as they have no control over what they are doing. The monsters are just there to follow orders from their masters and execute them. The zombies can thus be compared to an American who lost his/her job to the immigrants, and they are now trying to seek how they can make ends meet. The Americans are forced to…
Personal Statement The fact that I am a polyglot is what creates interest in me for history. Other than Spanish, which is my mother’s language, I am conversant with other languages such as Portuguese, Italian, English, French, Croatian, Danish, and Swedish. Portuguese is my first learned foreign language. I found it easier to learn because it is mutually intelligible to Spanish, and they both share many common vocabularies and expressions. Therefore, even without prior familiarity, I could understand a person speaking in Portuguese. For instance, even the language from a completely different world such as Croatian, there are common expressions to the Spanish language. This fact leaves me wondering what formed it like this, and that draws my interest in history. Personally, I am not passionate about history because even my history courses rank 10 per cent in the university, although I study from one of the famous universities in Spain which offer the best quality education. Furthermore, I won the merit student in 2020, but I have never been interested in it from the beginning. My enthusiasm from polyglot…

Some of the main areas that require attention are safety concerns and inspection, storage concerns, and building and maintenance concerns Safety Concerns and Inspection Safety concerns of every person in the recreational facility should be at the heart of the business operation (Nohr, 2009). As the director, I would ensure there is an approach of ensuring all participants have an understanding of the risks involved in participating in the recreational activities. They need to understand anticipated risks, unsafe acts, as well as their consequences. I can achieve this use of posters, regular supervisions and briefing sessions. Recreational facilities require a regular inspection (Nohr, 2009). As such, I would ensure that the facility is inspected regularly to ensure the safety of everyone visiting the place and the employees. I can develop…
