This will be a business plan for the Phone Tech Organization, an established organization involved in selling phones. The business has been operational since 2016, and it is headquartered in New York. It has been selling quality phones from reputable companies like Apple, Techno, Nokia, Infinix, Huawei, Samsung, etc. There are increasing costs of carrying the business in the modern world, affecting business organizations like Phone Tech. As such, it has to diversify its mode of operation by offering its phones through the e-commerce platform to increase its profits, market share, customer experience, and, thus, ensure the business’s sustainability. Hence, this business proposal will be looking at the need for Phone Tech to start involving online platforms in selling their products.

Problem Statement

Even with the introduction of new technologies and marketing tools, the operational costs for running a business are ever-increasing regularly, making the business organizations provide new ways of making more profits. Besides, the increasing costs of running a company implies that they have to offer new ways of running its operations. The provision of new platforms will be maximizing the profits made by the business and improve customer experience. As such, the Phone Tech business will have to rely on its shops to drive direct sales and benefit from online platforms, enabling it to deliver products to customers’ doorsteps. The rise of COVID-19 also implies that most customers cannot present themselves to the shops, making it necessary for the business to adopt e-commerce platforms to make sales. As such, the establishment of e-commerce is a necessity for the company.

Proposed solution

The proposed solution will include using an e-commerce platform where the business will post the phones and devices they are selling to the customers. The provision of an e-commerce platform will ensure an increased sale of phones, making the company profitable even though there is an increased cost of operations. Besides, it will be an essential strategy to make customers buy phones even though they are not reaching shops because of the coronavirus pandemic. Similarly, the initiative will be crucial in improving customers’ experience, as the products can be delivered to their doorsteps, thus solving the problem of presenting themselves to the shops.

Methodology

Phone Tech will establish an online platform (www.phinetechn.com). The phones and devices will be posted on the website enabling customers to view and make purchases. It will be essential for the business to employ web designers, online customer care, delivery personnel, and rent new storage useful in keeping the phones.

Qualifications

I am a holder of a degree in Business Management, having worked with seven businesses in the past as a business consultant. Currently, I am working as a business consultant in the Apple Company as a marketing consultant.

Pricing

The prices of the product delivered through the online platform will remain the same, and the customers will not be charged transportation costs. As such, they will have to make payment after the delivery of products. It will encourage customers to buy the products through the online platform because it is delivered to their doorsteps, and there are no additional transportation costs (Hair Jr, Page & Brunsveld, 2019).

Benefits to the business

The establishment of an e-commerce business platform will offer a new dimension to the Phone Tech company, as it will be using it to sell phones to customers that cannot reach its premises. There will be an increased sale for the company even though there is an increased cost of running the business. The business will also improve customer experience by involving e-commerce platforms (Laudon & Traver, 2016).
