BUILDING ANALYSIS
Introduction
Building form everyday life interaction and these spaces create an environment that best supports different objectives and helps establish a significant impact on the individuals involved. The different building designs and significant attributes contribute positively towards creating influence and establishing a significant impact on how well individuals would have a great experience within the interaction. However, there are similarly different aspects of these buildings that different in one way or another and which contribute to the selection of a specific building for a specific activity all through the interaction within an institution.
The discussion establishes a comparison of two buildings within the Wenzhou- Kean campus looking at the differences and similarities of these two buildings to create an understanding of the most efficient building to develop group work and establish meetings throughout the students’ study. The two buildings within the campus under considerations are the General Education Hall (GEH) and the College of Business and Public Management (CBPM) both situated with the serene environment of the campus and which would be useful to the students in support for their study and different related activities. Establishing the comparison creates a better view of the building in terms of features within it that may support the significant objective and comparing these two to establish the most effective and which would have a great impact in the objective achievement.
Similarities of the buildings
The buildings have significantly similar attributes and present similar aspects in terms of setting and create a great interaction to establish which best suits or creates value for the group works and students’ meetings. However, the following similarities are attached to both buildings;
- Both the GEH and the CBPM buildings present state of the art technology and WIFI connection.
- Both buildings present great teaching equipment with the GEH establishing the support of media site used in class elaborations. The CBPM hosts several portable whiteboards which significantly offer similar support in maintaining the teaching approach in the classroom.
- Both buildings present a cool and conducive traditional learning space with great aeration and better surrounding vicinity.
- Both buildings present a significant seating arrangement that creates a better impact and influence on class interaction.
Differences between the building
The buildings have significant differences and create a great challenge in creating a comparison between the different buildings. The difference creates a better view of both buildings and has an impact in line with identifying the most suitable building to establish group discussions and class meetings.
- The General Education Hall does not offer space in creating group discussions, and it has limited seating spaces. At the same time, the CBPM presents a significant class space with over 30 classrooms and 15 group discussion rooms.
- The CBPM has a great interaction environment with a great auditorium that would host a bigger number of individuals in meetings, on the other hand, the GEH has a limited number of interactive spaces and creates a limited approach to meetings as the spaces structured to facilitate class set up.
- The CBPM hosts a conference discussion and social space that facilitates group interaction as opposed to the GEH with a limited approach to groups and focusing on general class interaction.
- The GEH building hosts a significantly lower number of students as compared to the CBPM with better and portable seats that would be moved to accommodate even more students in one seating.
Conclusion
The comparison between the CBPM building and the GEH presents a significant interaction that presents the view of the different features that establish gradual change and which establish a better approach towards getting the most appropriate building to establish group discussions and meetings. However, from the comparison, it’s clear to establish that there is gradual impact presented by the CBPM building with the great features that support its ability to host group discussions and class meetings which form a significant objective of the discussion. The distinctive features established in creating a selection of the best building to suit the objective are mainly the large capacity to host groups and the different state of the art technology that helps establish the best possible approach these groups would establish.
Additionally, the serene environment similarly creates an added advantage towards establishing its selection as it presents a significant impact and changes towards developing better and improving the interactions within these groups. Referring to the main idea in conducting the comparison which is, creating an understanding of the most efficient building to develop group work and establish meetings throughout the students’ study. It would be clear to establish that the CBPM building hosts more value towards achieving the objective with great features and establishing significant impact to the different needs of a group discussion and meetings.
