Building A Foundation for Digital Business Success Using VMware Solutions
Abstract
The current world and market challenges have pushed many company’s transformation efforts to the forefront. This Dissertation will focus on how businesses can quickly extend their corporate workplace to home more during this period of COVID-19, ensuring that the proper security controls and network capacity are in place to support a remote workforce. My research aims to come up with an idea of how to keep partners and customers engaged via digital channels. I will use the VMware solution in my study for app modernization, networking, multi-cloud, security, and digital workplaces to ensure I lead business owners on how to build a strong foundation for digital business success. Through the use of VMware solutions, a digital transformation will help businesses to do more than just addressing the immediate challenges. Therefore, where the solution is done right, the company can enhance an increased resilience, agility, and create a strong position for their organizations for future growth (Chaffey, Edmundson-Bird & Hemphill, 2019). VMware will help in accelerating the business path to the digital world. Moreover, the use of VMware solutions will help business owners to build out more secure digital foundations that will enable their organizations to improve their business resilience with a minimal cost as well as driving their operational efficiencies, cutting security-related losses, and responding very fast to the changing market dynamics and the needs of customers.
When building a foundation for digital business success, I will explore seven different part starting with the digital at the core of the business, delivering the appropriate app, helping on how to run the app on any cloud, scaling and protecting the network, supporting any device to use the app, leveraging intrinsic securities and the final part will be transforming the business with a strong digital foundation.
