In the most recent times, Boston Dynamics that is owned by Japan’s SoftBank Group unleashed video of a robot that looks much like a dog. The galloping Bovidae like creature is seen unloading dishwashers and moving up the stairs. It can run fast than Usain Bolt. The interesting human-like robot has left most of the Youtube viewers believing that robots will soon take over human jobs.
The latest video which went viral around five months ago shows that the Boston Dynamics robot has a new look and form like that one of an emu. It weighs 231 pounds, 6 feet tall and has wheels which glide as it moves. It can pick up and walk around with huge boxes using its “Handle.” The company says that it is designed to carry approximately 33 pounds while maneuvering from one place to another. The robot was first seen on the internet about two years ago though in a different form.
Due to the efficiency and capability of its legs, Handle uses its tough terrain capability legs to move. This is according to the description given by the company through its website. The website also stated that Handle uses the same principles for dynamics in balancing. It also said that its mobile manipulation that uses quadruped and biped robots. The robots usually have ten acute joints and it is not very complicated.
Its wheels propel it very fast and they are efficient on a flat surface while the legs can help it to maneuver almost everywhere. Handle combines both legs and wheels thereby helping it in its movement. This makes it the best robot in the world.
Boston Dynamics through Twitter stated that the Handle robot was among its best machines in “efforts in logistics.” On the other hand, the video of the robot has already gained over 800,000 views. The presumption is that it is likely to replace many human workers and cause violence.

Marc Raibert, the founder of Boston Dynamics, speaking to an audience in Germany told them that the company was scheduled to test the discomfited quadruped dog-like robot. The robot is known as SpotMini for use in industries and security services and home assistance. The robot weighs 66 pounds, 2 feet, 9 inches tall and is among the quietest robots that the company has produced. It operates on electricity and it has 17 joints and ones charged, it can operate for ninety minutes before the next recharge.
