As an administrator incharge of the law enforcement agency, I will undertake the power and authority in controlling the situation. With accordance to the united states corporate law, I will use my capacity and executive management in formulating the policies that are bound to all members. In such an approach, many members will change their attitude and behave towards the policies of the agency. In formulating the policies, I will follow the following leadership styles;

Authoritative style.

Since members have engaged in practices of taking meals in my jurisdiction, I will adopt an authoritative style in curbing the situation. As an administrator, I will strictly formulate policies to govern all the members of the agency. In enforcing such policies, I would exert full control over the members. Members will be liable to obey the policies without any exclusion option. In making sure that the members follow the policies, in enforcing the policies, members will be excluded from giving ideas as to the policies. With regards to this style, I will be overall and whatever policies passed have to be adhered to without question.

Transactional style

In enforcing the policies, I will promise to motivate members who will follow and obey the policies. Depending on adherence and performance of the members towards the policies, I will reward the members who will cheerfully obey the policies. For the members who will disobey the policies, they will deserve punishment. By use of this style, members will be watchful over their behaviour and as a result, this situation will be stamped down.

Transfoirmational style.

Since violence styles may sound like a dictatorship, I will adopt a transformational style whereby, as an administrator, I will take part in adhering to the policies and no member who will feel oppressed. I will take an initiative of inspiring and empowering as well as motivating the members to stop the behaviour. I will commit myself to the policies in order to encourage them to adhere to the policies. By considering the uniqueness of each member and skills, I will be able to influence the and therefore, change their behaviour hence curbing the situation.

Applicable philosophy to the situation

In efforts to deal with the situation, the philosophy of punishment will influence good morals to the members; hence some situations like the one experiencing the agency will become stamped. Under this philosophy, I will employ the philosophy of purpose, rehabilitation and restitution. The laws specifying punishment for a criminal offence will deter members from engaging in such situations in future. Bypassing the punishment to the members,

members will be watchful from committing such crimes similar to the current situation of using the administrator’s jurisdiction in acquiring services. The purpose of this philosophy is to deter members from committing crimes under one’s jurisdiction. The philosophy of rehabilitation will serve as a correctional system. By applying this philosophy, members will have a chance to learn how to change their behaviour in order to avoid committing crimes. According to the situation, members indicates the sign of misusing one’s power for self-gain, and therefore, if not controlled, the significant worse situation may be observed in future.

Ways of implementing the changes

In action to implement changes to avoid a similar situation n future, I will apply the following stages in making the changes adaptable to members.

Management support. In this approach, members will be more comfortable while they see management supporting them. Management in this case, for example, may well wish to allocate some funds for some meals to the members. In this way, members will only stick to the terms as far as payment of meals by management will be made. In this case, the management will have supported the change when making and implementing the changes.

Case for change. Some members tend to be so rigid in accepting changes for the change sake. In this case, as an administrator, I will create a case for exchange. Creating the case, I will use the information of the members accessing free meals under the administrative jurisdiction.

Employee involvement.

In making the changes, employee involvement will play a significant role. Since the situation involves member’s conduct, the change will be communicated and members get updated on it, in this approach. Members will rarely commit the action again.

Communicating the change. Failure to communicate the implementation may lead to violent behaviours by the members. Poor communication of the change will also fail in adopting the changes by members. Instead of curbing the situation, poor communication is likely to worsen the situation, and maybe in future; the members may become uncontrollable.

If I accepted the free items either before or after being incharge as an administrator, my stance remains that changes have to be made. In this case, I will demonstrate the qualities of a good administrator who are following law enforcement. As per the professional quality requirements in enforcing laws, I will be honest and show integrity as well as ethics in standing firm to the decision. Regardless of the time, either before or after, its good to stick to the truth. Even though many individuals may react differently since the behaviour of somebody in power is different from the behaviour of any other individual. For example, an administrator may find it to make changes to prevent the occurrence of other situations to the current one. In this case, members may be hostile to the changes, and therefore, the attitude varies from one individual to another.

As an administrator, I would adopt the implementation of changes and mostly with regards to the situation. Making implementation prevents the occurrence of violence between the members and the management. The changes will influence the ethical standards among the members and hence, minimal crimes. Since the crime is not so serious to an, extend of suing the members to the court, implementation of changes will play a significant role and focus on future prevention of such crimes. The amendment of the changes will also serve as a turning point and create awareness to the members on areas of their jurisdictions as well as those of director.
