In order to influence and improve community health in Jordan City, it becomes necessary to come up with specific techniques that will help to overcome barriers, make use of opportunities and negotiate conflict with definite viewpoints and driving forces. One of the possible strategies is the formation of strategic partnerships between local government, healthcare facilities, local organizations, and companies (Ginter et al., 2018). Ideally, this should strengthen collaborative working towards shared goals for health promotion and the use of pooled resources and skills base. Implementing MOUs or other joint projects provides formal documentation that may outline roles, responsibilities, and goals of the partners, and can improve management of resources and problem-solving tasks.
Another key approach of addressing barriers and developing opportunities is the promotion of policy changes. This approach encompasses lobbying and supporting policies and initiatives that address health equity, sustainable development, and environmental conservation in Jordan City. Additionally, it depends on the creation of public and political will using empirical research and argumentation to show the economic and health gains to be derived from the proposed reforms. Stakeholders can use certain advocacy campaigns, lobbying, and educational activities to ensure that others take notice of the need for policy changes. This strategy is used as evidence-based reasoning and best practises based on case studies of similar cities to gain public support for policy changes that produce effective results (Counts et al., 2021).
Conflict resolution is always critical in the management of health processes, as it sustains pace and cooperation (Folger et al., 2021). One effective strategy is the use of mediation and consensus which entails engaging agreeing to disagree and finding a common ground towards coming up with the best solution that supports the interest of the entire community. This is pursued based on the concept that trust and understanding between and within stakeholders is developed by practicing transparency and fairness in decision making. Applying mediation procedures accompanied by a third party, like professional mediators or authorities’ representatives, contributes to conflict solving. Structured dialogue enable stakeholders to air their complaints, bargain for change and agree on appropriate direction on contentious issues in order to arrive at a consensus thereby ensuring that decisions are actualizations of community participation and foster sustainable decisions (Folger et al., 2021).
