The reasons that lead to sexual Abuse and the ways we can handle the problem in our community. In most cases, women are the people who experience violence. In the 21st century, we still surprised that there is a situation of sexual Abuse on women because they were still inferior to men. The research shows more non-governmental groups on child and women rights have increased over the last 20years to reduce the problem. A Cognitive Psychology Research on Sexual Abuse and Harassment

Introduction

Sexual Abuse is a situation that we assume it does not happen, and yet the issues arise daily in our communities. The act of sexual assault to a person makes them grow with a different perception about life and start to drive their attention to various activities in the community. At times, their recognition of vital activities like education drives away. My analysis of how many cases of sexual Abuse in our community happen failed because it is not easy for people to report. Out of ten questionnaires, only two people were willing to talk about sexual Abuse in our community (Hyland, 2016).  The memory of sexual abuse cases grow and lead to a mental disorder to children and women. There are reports from psychiatrists who claim most women from relationship violence fear getting into another marriage—having a society that fears and suffers from a mental disorder. The solution to such a problem is to understand the reason why such cases exist and the way to tackle them.

Child mistreatment is a very overwhelming situation in our community. In American society, more than 2million cases reported of child abuse. Since the year 1990, we had reports from families, neighbors to social service agencies requesting help, or recording child mistreatments problems. In the year 1979 to 1988, stories of more than two thousand kids reported. The deaths of the 2000 children ranged from (0-17) years recorded annually from child abuse cases. Our children are our future, and it is better to show them a better way of life through better treatment and education. Moreover, 160,000 circumstances who have had severe injuries due to child violence reported in the year 1990. Psychologically, these situations are evidence that the cases of children harassment are in society.

Medical care, foster care, specialized education, and family counseling is a solution to childhood victimization cases. The children need care and specialized training to assist their minds in changing their perception of life. Neglecting a child is also a form of harassment, and most kids grow up not socializing with others as supposed to. If there is no positive outcome, it will affect a child’s growth and behavior (Mokma, 2016). We have heard reports about social problems, juvenile delinquency, and substance abuse caused by child mistreatment.

Women are also the people who are facing cases of mistreatment in our community. The recent sexual assault that we hear in media services in rape cases is sexual Abuse to women. You should understand there is no fault in the clothes that women wear. The substance or alcohol you consumed should not be a reason for one rape. The idea of assaulting someone is always in someone’s head when making the decision (Dworkin, 2017). The feeling of shame and countless memories of the actions are the issues that affect women and your children not to focus well on their daily activities. I encourage immediate reports and medical attention when such cases happen because it helps with counseling and avoiding disease contraction. Besides, a sexual assault experienced in workplaces. Women denied rights to work on specific professions or even have promotions. Male gender has priority over the female gender.

Literature Review

Sexual Abuse refers to the forcing of sexual behavior upon an individual without their consent. Sexual Abuse is a crime committed with the aim of controlling and humiliating a victim. Most victims of sexual Abuse are women and children since they perceived as the lesser group in society (Goodman et al., 2017). Our today’s patriarchal society oppresses women and children because of their social standing in the nation. The effects of sexual Abuse may vary physical effects and psychological trauma. The intriguing fact about the impact of sexual Abuse is mental health concerns and diminished social confidence. Some of the sexual abuse effects include; sexual assault, which includes rape and generally all the degrading act that are meant for degrading an individual.

Effects of rape cause profound psychological trauma to individuals involved as well as reproductive health problems associated with sexual assault (Wark et al., 2018). Rape instigates diminished social confidence to the victim involved and affects the entire life of the individual. Victims experience long-term psychological effects citing to self-blame as the most common psychological effect. Victims use Self-blame as a tool for avoidance basing. What self-blame does, in most cases, is that it slows or stops the healing process. In turn, it results in depression and flashback memories that haunt the victim in his/her entire life. The solution to victims that have been involved in rape cases includes, the victims receiving comprehensive treatment that addresses the effects, as they tend to unveil. In an attempt by Rape, Abuse& Incest National Network (RAINN) to provide a solution to the sexual abuse rape, they educate the public on the sexual violence and provision of resources and support for the sexual survivors (Wark et al., 2018).

Traumatic events can lead to condition n known as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD). Sexual Abuse forms a type of trauma since it instills shame on the victims (Grom et al., 2019). For instance, for the case of childhood sexual abuse, victims are too young to understand and how to express what is happening around them and ways to seek help. PSTD, when not adequately treated, can cause psychological torture for the rest of the kids’ life. Sexual Abuse arouses a type of trauma that affects not only the victims but also the family members and the society. This is because sexual Abuse, rape are vent, which is shame-filled in our community and involves unwanted behavior within our culture. According to research, children are the most likely to become victims of sexual Abuse and face trauma the most compared to adults (Grom et al., 2019). Early sexual Abuse again makes children hyper-sexualized or even sexually reactive. It has to do with issues of promiscuity, and poor self-esteem becomes a significant problem in the child’s psychological development. Again, due to the outcome of sexual Abuse, child victims may find themselves indulged in substance abuse. According to a study carried out by AAETS reveals that 90 % of drugs addicts have some background in some form of abuse (Grom et al., 2019). Victims of sexual Abuse involve in substance abuse to leave a life that they would not focus more on the future because they believe their life messed up. The solution to children who have been victims of sexual Abuse is for the victims to receive a supportive, caring adult, maybe a parent, for the rest of their life to guide them. With this, the victims tend to recover faster. Again, seeking counseling advice from a counselor may help prevent PTSD symptoms from persisting.

Again, the result of child abuse is an adult is not fully capable of functioning either inside or outside of the society due to psychological torture of the brain. To understand the point in detail, consider a child that is abused. This child has the potential of being a leader or excel in education and possibly have a family. However, this potential is both poisoned and limited; thus, the future leader becomes a drain on society. What child abuse does to a child is changing an individual’s overall behavior to an entirely new individual. According to statistics, they show that prostitutes, in many cases, are victims of either physical or sexual Abuse (Lewis et al., 2016). Again, juvenile delinquents doing hard times have been perceived to have been involved in severe physical punishments and assaulted at home (Lewis et al., 2016). Two out of three murderers report that they have had a history of severe physical Abuse in childhood (Lewis et al., 2016). From the above statistics, these individuals probably may have become wasted out, were it not for the sexual harassment they received. Sexual Abuse alters the behaviors, and he is thinking of an individual entirely; as a result, the formation of an individual with lousy charter traits. However, a solution lies in that victims can seek professional expertise for guidance to ensure that the victims meet the challenges they are experiencing as a result of either rape or sexual Abuse (Goodman et al.,2017). Incorporation of intervention in schools where there is the use of approaches that work with the students, carefully focusing on facts about sexual Abuse and informing them what action to take in case they feel to be victims. Again, for the community, it can be recommended to go down and act as a mechanism for kids to report Abuse.

Argument Discussion

Sexual Abuse considered a crime, and that is why their many organizations are supporting women and child rights in our community. My argument is why there are increased women rape cases in the world today. Despite the impact of the situation, the behavior and conduct we display outside our homes easily attract positive and negative energy towards us. Walking almost naked is a choice, and I have no issue with that, but I feel it attracts negative judgment and desire towards our girls. Sexual assault is a disease of the mind. The intention happens because someone finds the urge to commit such activity. I feel that the way we communicate cloth and communicate will protect our rights from deprived. Almost 50 percent of cases of rape and women harassment had happened when individuals were on substance or alcohol consumption. Our safety is our priority; having more than enough at an unknown place with unknown people is just a way of victimizing yourself willingly.

Our communities are to blame for child abuse, and we claim that children are harassed and even killed while watching. I feel the city and the government is to blame for mist sexual abuse cases in our communities. When we report cases of child mistreatment from the moment we identify a case saves a child or a woman form continuous mental and physical torture. Most people ignore and decide not to engage in someone’s business-forgetting effect of the assault on the assaulted. I believe the government can implement a hard trial for sexual abuse crimes, and it will surely reduce cases.

Our education is the main section that can help reduce sexual Abuse to our women and children. Most sexual abuse cases not reported until an injury or death happens. Lack of enough counseling departments and more attention to students is not the key to solving the issue. Most students sound fearful to students, which makes them not report their inner feelings or suffering. Teachers and students need to have a stable relationship to allow them to open up when they have a problem. A better society deserves peace with fewer violent crimes that will distort the harmony of the community.  However, despite substance abuse, clothes, and lack of enough communication and counseling departments on sexual Abuse on children and women, the activity should be stopped.

The weakness of the Research Analysis

The questionnaire which entailed if there are cases of sexual Abuse in our communities, I found only two people ready to communicate and explain their opinions. I feel we should spread the information on why women and children suffer and the impact it has on their social, mental, and economic life. Moreover, the assaulted patients suffered from trauma, and it was not advisable to remind them of their past. The psychiatrist did not disclose information on the patients who have suffered from such assaults due to the policies set on patient privacy. However, the two out of ten witnesses that had confidence did help disclose the sexual abuse cases in our community.

Conclusion

The basis of the research was to understand the effects of sexual harassment in our community. Moreover, how it affects the mental health of an individual. The perception, memory, and attention of an assaulted fellow have shown that the crime should have hard trials during a court listening. To minimize the occurrence in our community, we should allow the spread of how we can solve and help the community better understand the impact of the actions. The main aim of the research is to know why sexual harassment actions happen in our society and how to solve them.
