What new for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
The 2021 E-Class lineup receives a mid-cycle update. From the exterior, E-Class adopts newly designed LED headlights, grille, and front bumper. The design extends to the rear with updated taillights.
The interior cabin gets synthetic leather upholstery, new steering wheel, advanced driver tech, wood finishes, and an MBUX infotainment system. The infotainment system features a dual 12.3-inch touchscreen fitted to the dashboard.
The V6 twin-turbo powertrain gets a replacement with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine for the E450 model. The long-awaited plugin hybrid is now available with the E350e model.

2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Horsepower
The base gets a 2.0-liter four-cylinder powertrain capable of providing 255 horsepower. It is paired with an automatic 9-speed transmission to give 273lb-ft, the power channels to rear- or all-wheel drive. The new hybrid plugin comes in a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder electric motor generating 315 hp and a 516 lb-ft of torque.
The E450 gets more power from a turbocharged inline six-cylinder powertrain and hybrid system. a supercharged electric system dominates with an average of 48-volts pairing turbocharged engine to generate 362 hp and about 369 lb-ft of torque. The power gets channeled to either rear- or all-wheel drive.
