There are ethnic and racial heart differences in cardiovascular disease. It is the leading cause of death of south Asians and black Africans in the UK population. Disease diagnostic skills and presentation may differ in ethnic minorities. Minority groups, due to limited access to health care and other social risk factors, have higher chances of poor cardiovascular health. Heart diseases and stroke also widespread challenges facing the nation. Risk factors like high blood pressure and cholesterol cause changes in the blood vessels and the heart leading to stroke and heart failure. Significant disparities of cardiovascular disease are based on age, gender, and other socioeconomic factors.
