Response on health care reforms
Hello!
I agree that healthcare reforms can play a significant role in restructuring and improving the healthcare system to ensure that every America receives better and even comprehensive access to health care services without difficulties. The process of heath care reformation entails a broad-based approach, and all the functional plan components that are evident in health care without focusing on a few system issues. The reforms are significant in ensuring that negative health practices, including biased insurance in heath, improvement of health care, and the cost of care, provide a better option for Americans towards fluctuating cost of care, medical coverage, and care quality (Obama, 2016).
Additionally, the affordability act seems to have directed plans for insurance coverage to ten specific services, including the personal plan and the small group marketplace’s plans. The ten specific services, including emergency services, lab services, rehabilitative services, and mental health services, pose a high advantage to the health sector. Hospitalization, pregnancy, maternity services, pediatric services, and preventive services are also considered important in providing affordable care act benefits (Manchikanti et al., 2017).
I acknowledge that ACA has got major achievements since its initiation, including historic progress in health coverage in America, improved health care access, and reduced cost of care to all citizens. It has also led to high market placemarks and high satisfaction for individuals who require a comprehensive care plan. However, the policy has got its controversies, including increased tax, high rates of insurance percentages, increased workload, cost on the medical provider, and some patients can be exposed to fines (Obama, 2016).
