Poverty is one of the leading causes of suffering and deaths in developing countries, and it’s caused by various factors such as conflicts and inequality and results in poor performance of students in school.
Causes and Effects of Poverty in an Individual
Effect: Poor class performance in school.
Topic Sentence: A good home and food are basic sources of better performance for students in school.
Details: When children go to school with empty stomachs, they lack the necessary concentration to commit to their studies thus resulting in poor grades and overall failure of affected students.
Cause: Inequality and marginalization.
Topic Sentence: Inequality is when some races or communities are much favored than the others and are allocated many resources. It makes a particular group not to be represented, or they lack the voice to air their grievances.
Details: Representation should involve people regardless of their social status.

Details: Conflict leads to the destruction of infrastructure, leaving people with no option but to look for better places to live. It makes their lives more difficult since they will lose their jobs and start fresh in their new houses.
