Race, Identity, and National Security is a serious security issue in the United States. That Caucasian-American males have dominated the national-security profession. The United States country has done well under the prevailing conditions. However, there is a need to diversify the military pro policymakers on matters national,l security, session, IN a recent forum comprising roughly 500 relevant opinion makers about minority African-Americans in the national security profession.
Additionally, the most important, there is a need to be a lack of African Americans. The national-security profession is inept diversity of all kinds. Despite a moderate collection of African –Americans currently in the profession, their numbers are not entirely representative sample in other professional fields.
The military profession remains one of the most significant sources of diversity, specifically for African –Americans. However, African American military officers do not elect to pursue careers in national security beyond military service. Additionally, as one of the most experienced and bona fide national security professionals while in uniform, do not engage in open or closed forums focused on national security issues despite having the requisite professional qualifications. Senior active duty African –American officers are skeptical of joining such groups without first being convinced by someone they entrusted that it is a risk worth taking. Various study undertaking by……shows that a majority of African American soldiers are of the view that the5re are unspoken guidelines at their professional level that are not applied equally; as such, they are not ready to undertake anything that may be seen as questionable or draw uncalled for attention to themselves or the military force, thus calling into question their judgment.
Another probable reason national-security is not diversified on its own since there is an incentive to do so. The American security mechanism is still, to some extent, yet stable irrespective of the lack of ethnic diversity. This gives the country a false sense of being secure and a Pollyanna perspective that there is no need to redefine or enhance its security mechanisms. All American citizens should be alarmed since the country’s enemies do not care whether you are a man, woman, black, white, sexual orientation, ethnic cultural, and religious heritage. They want to harm citizens simply because they are Americans. Given that the country’s enemies do not care about ethnic diversity, it will be prudent for the government to put this to its advantage.
Military ethnic diversity creates a room for various synergies of varying perspectives. This is important when trying to develop solutions to intricate issues such as the ones faced by military personnel on a recurrent basis. To promote diversity in the United States military profession, every stakeholder, despite their backgrounds, should put in place incentives to recruit for military professionals can qualified candidates. It should be carried out as long as those searching for qualified individuals look beyond their sociological tendency to recruit someone of similar gender, race, background, culture, and ethnicity. When they get qualified candidates, gain their trust. Through action, stakeholders should show that the organization values them as professionals first and foremost irrespective of race or gender.
Promotions should be awarded based on merit across all the military dynamics.
Diversity can give us an asymmetric edge if the country manages to leverage it. As such, policy formulators should aid the military profession, their irrespective communities, and the United States of America. Black-American soldiers should have trust that they require will inspire the milliary p0roffesion in its entirety, the society in general, and the United States of America. Black military personnel who are trailblazers will receive fair treatment. As such, three fundamental things are supposed to take place. For starters, trailblazers will encourage other black potential military professionals to enter the field. Secondly, the organizational culture will transform to one that that is more tolerant of diversity of all types sets. Lastly, leaders in the organization will become more bent to recruit and enhance mentorship. These are the critical initial steps in developing the environment where only things that matter as the principles, and in the military profession that consequently
struggles with intricate national –security and foreign policies.

Such powerful appointments played a part in remodeling the United States imperialism just as aptly as compared to male Caucasian counterparts.
However, despite the road maps towards inclusivity, the minority inclusion in the post-racial era came with the message of neoliberal ethics’ individual responsibility traits. For instance, on the image on a government website features the government’s call to action, prepare Plan and stay informed’, which is that of a working-class African American woman and her daughter reading instructions at a retail store on preparing for disasters like a tornado. The image’s essence is that they can and should be ready to take personal responsibility for emergencies and emerge resilient by shopping for the requisite items in case of a disaster. This is in line with the former Obama regime DHS policies.
The self-conscious adoption of a multicultural nationalism is also apparent in the if you see something PSA. In the phase of the cold war white middle-class imperial nature of security issues, the PSA showcases diverse families. The first shot is of framed pictures of minority, white and brown middle –working-class persons and their close relations.
