Company x has introduced fingerprint register technology to help the company increase productivity, secure company resources and ensure they are working with the rights people that is no ghost workers. However, it has led to payrolls tracking, employment and employees’ attendance tracking since one has to check-in or check-out through fingerprint register. According to Mudasir (2017) company resources are secured because the people who access the company are identified thus securing confidential data for both the company and employees which staff are very comfortable about it. Some employees have taken it very positively since you do not have to carry your ID as an identity anymore.

Employees are not happy with the new digitalized register since one cannot clock in for another as they were used to sign for the others before. Complains were heard from the employees claiming that the machine was expensive to buy and maintain saying the money could have been used to increase their salaries and wages (Management association 2018). Employees are also finding it very difficult to lie the number of hours they have worked since they have to check in and out through fingerprint register. The aged employees are not comfortable placing their fingers on the machine they still want to produce their national identity and sign especially when receiving their payments.

In conclusion, implementation of fingerprint register technology in company x has increased security, productivity and identification avoiding duplication since some people can look alike for instance Chinese people. Change is not easy anywhere, people resist, but with time they get used to it and adapt it comfortably. Employees, now they have to do their work full time as assigned by the company, not like before they could sneak in and out anyhow. Employees who used to come late for job or fail to report they will get used to the new changes and adapt thus benefiting the company.
