China v America: how do they compare?
The comparison between these two countries majorly focused on the usage of the internet and the online industry. China’s user internet base is more extensive, much bigger than that of the United States; the infrastructure internet in the United States is still much ahead of the china, majorly for the end-users. China users of the internet run versions of software that are older than the internet users in the U.S., and majorly when it comes to web browsers and operating systems, china has more potential for the growth since it is the largest country with the internet. The hosting industry, which is vital in the United States, keeps the nation at the bar, especially since the internet users from all parts of the world are using their services.
The comparison was also in terms of current account balance between the two countries, which states that the U.S. has been bearing the world’s most massive deficit burden in terms of growth. China is running with the budget surplus most significant in the world. There was also a comparison in terms of GDP, whereby in china, the GDP is almost ten per cent when compared to 3 per cent for the 2012 third quarter. Despite all these significant variations indicating china’s powers for growth, the domestic market’s capitalization, which was produced by the world federation exchanges, was $17tn for the U.S. than that of China, which was $4tn. United States stock is mostly owned by China, thus giving china more power.
Comparison of Russia and Germany in terms of culture
In Russia, more often than Europe, girls on the street can be dressed by the guys that look them attractive, people are free to say what they feel, and everybody knows. Power distance is standing to be the most distinct features in Russia; according to Hofstede, it can be stated with power in Moscow, which is centralized and leads to the significant importance of the status symbols such as western brands. In Germany, people do not show or say what they feel like in public, which is not as open as in Russia, where people’s moods can even be seen. There are varying dialects everywhere in Germany, while Russia does not seem to have much of the dialects, even though the country is enormous.
Another vital difference between Russia and Germany is that friendship is not necessary for Germany. Friends are not essentially your soul mates. Thus they have a higher score in individualism. In contrast, Russia is where regional and friendship are bonding with the neighbours is fundamental, even incorporated by language. The indulgence rate, which is how well people control their impulses, is much higher in Germany than Russia. In Russia, people do not observe queuing culture; people are just noting who is behind them and later come back to join the queue at that specific place.
The two countries’ assessment of culture makes sense since one can know business etiquette and how people communicate in these two countries. The comparison between these two countries has also elaborated on the gender difference, whereby some people are free to express their feelings in public. What has surprised me is that guys can dress girls they see attractive to them in Russia. One is free to express their feelings, which can even be seen in their facial expression, which is of higher rank in Russia, which does not happen in Germany.
