WATER JUGS FOR CAMPING
Water is a vital survival need. Nutritionists recommend drinking at least two liters of water or more every day. When going camping, having water jugs or containers is one of the essential elements necessary for the camping to go smoothly. The uses of water during camping include washing utensils and clothes, personal use (bathing and brushing), cooking, and drinking.
Campers understand the importance of being hydrated during camping. Hydration keeps the body which is water filled to properly function, maintaining a healthy flow of blood, liver and kidney function, and proper mental cognition. While camping it may be challenging to get water hence water jugs are crucial for survival.
There are different types of water jugs available for use during camping. The water jugs available include:
- Collapsible water jugs: occupy less space but are less durable.
- Hard-sided water jugs: take a lot of space and are more durable.
- Refillable water bottles: For personal use like drinking and brushing the teeth.
Since there are various sources of water during camping, it is necessary to bring along a water filter or water purification tablets to ensure the water is safe for use and consumption. In case of hot weather, it may also be necessary to carry a water cooler to keep items cold and refreshing. In order to select the best water jug, there are several factors that one needs to consider.
First, it is important to look at the construction and composition of the water jug. Many plastic jugs are made of plastic material composed of polycarbonates. The polycarbonates have bisphenol-A, a harmful substance that seeps into the water stored in water bottles. When the water consumed BPA is absorbed into the blood stream building up toxic levels and causing various health problems. Aluminum water jugs are also reactive and often, toxic. A plastic or resin liner is necessary for aluminum water jugs to prevent reactions causing its own health concerns. The safest water jug is stainless steel as it does not contain harmful chemicals or substances that would otherwise cause major health concerns.
Also, it is important to check the features, use, and care of the water jug. The kind of physical regiment and lifestyle affects the choice of a specific water jug. Questions, such as should the water jug be hands free or hands on? Will I be adding fruits and other vegetables for use? Will I be using the water jug for uncarbonated or carbonated drinks? These questions help in determining the type of water jug one selects for use during camping.
The temperature ratings and cleaning instructions are also important. Some water bottles are not suitable for use with hot water, the liners in some water bottles are also compromised through excess heat. Many water jugs are not dishwasher friendly. It is recommended to clean the water jugs by hand using a soft sponge or a soft brush. It is necessary to pay attention to any dents and damages on the water jugs as well.
In addition, it is vital to check on the capacity of the water jugs used for camping. A good camper adequately prepares for the camping trip. It is critical to know the quantity of water you are likely to use in different activities like washing, cleaning, and cooking during the camping. the water jug should be able to meet these needs.
Moreover, the space available for camping is important in deciding the type of water jug for a camper. If there is limited space or camping light, a collapsible water jug is a better option. Often, non-collapsible water jugs are more study taking up a lot of space.
A sales presentation refers to a line of talk aimed at persuading people or companies to purchase and acquire a product or a service. A sales presentation is designed to introduce a product or service to an audience that are unaware of it. A sales representation can also be used for the expansion of a product or service that a population already has an interest in.
The three essential steps in sales presentation are:
- Discussing the product or idea. While discussing the product or service, it is necessary to identify the features, advantages, and the benefits of the product, idea, or service.
- Presenting the marketing plan for the new product, service or idea. The marketing plan identifies your target market and how the buyers will use the product or service.
- Explaining the business proposition. The consumers need to understand what they gain by using the product and understand how it’s value of the outweighs the cost.
My product is the Kisasa water jug. Kisasa water jugs come in different sizes of one liter, two liters, five liters, ten liters, twenty liters, and fifty liters. Kisasa water jugs are made up of BPA free plastic material which is safe for use. There are two types of the kisasa water jugs, the collapsible and the non-collapsible allowing the consumer to decide which one to select. The water jugs retail at $5.99, $8.99, $ 10.59, $16.99 and $25.00 respectively.
To begin with Kisasa water jugs are rugged and safe. They do not shatter and break into sharp pieces when they are dropped. They are very resilient hence unlikely to leak or burst, protecting its contents. This means that the bottles can be reused with ease. The water jugs also can contain water for longer periods without leaving behind any bad taste or smell on the water carried in the container.
Kisasa water jugs come in a variety of colors and shapes. There are blue, pink, green, and purple bottles. The different colors allow the camper to select a color he resonates with most. It gives the camper a deep sense of individuality. The name of the camper can also be inscribed on the water jug enabling the camper to personalize it. Moreover, the coloring does not fade; hence the water jug retains its color over a long period of time.
Kisasa water jugs are lighter in weight. Compared to the other available water jug, kisasa water jugs are easier to carry due to their lightness. Campers do not exert much pressure when carrying the water jugs. They are also lighter in the back packs allowing campers to move freely with less weight on their shoulders.
My marketing plan for Kisasa water jugs involves retailing them in all shops near camping sites and major supermarkets. My target audience are campers of all age brackets (from young children in their school camp activities to old adults enjoying a quiet relaxing camping time away from the home). While Kisasa water jugs may look similar to other water jugs, they are incomparable in terms of their durability, flexibility and cost. Kisasa water jugs will be advertised in various television channels, different social media channels, and by word of mouth from different campers.
My business proposition includes the prices of the Kisasa water jugs as compared to other brands, which retails at over $25. Many consumers get the value for their money. I believe a water jug should do more than just hold water. A water jug should be able to resonate with its carrier. This is what kisasa water jugs give to campers and the general population.
In conclusion, the value of water jugs for campers and the general population cannot be underestimated. It is from the water jugs that the basic necessities for camping and the entire body that the water is obtained. As it is popularly known, water is life. Thus, water jugs provide sustenance for continuing life.
