New Employee Name | New Employee Role |
JIMMY | HOTEL SENIOR SUPERVISOR |
Induction & Orientation Plan – 2 days
Induction can be defined as the organizational process of introducing a new employee to their bosses or employer, sometimes the whole company. On the other hand, orientation is a well-structured program that aims to reorganize a new worker and ensure that they are accustomed to their specific department, culture and particular, job role, and work culture. It is vital to use the onboarding approach to make the new employees feel free and welcomed to boost morale and productivity ( Kumar & Pandey, 2017). Orientation usually means providing new employees with the necessary basic information or data concerning the employer or company. One element is training programs, which are essential to ensure that the new employee gains all knowledge for the specific task and performs it satisfactorily (Rowland, Ruth, & Ekot, 2017 ). The primary objectives of induction in an organization are educating the new employee about their designated roles and tasks and how they can easily fit their role within the organization.
The orientation checklist is referred to as an organization’s actions that take when hiring a new employee. It also helps in making the worker adjust faster to a new work environment.
