AVERSIVE RACISM THEORY
Aversive racism theory describes the elusive racial comportments of any given ethnic group who vindicate their aversion to a precise group by application of rules and being stereotypic. Aversive racism exemplifies the predispositions of the politically liberal and trusts that they are not biased, but whose mental state and beliefs are conveyed or depicted indirectly by denying their racial enthused behavior.
In this case, the independent variable is the mental status of the ethnic groups. The dependent variable is the inequality amongst the ethnic groups involved. The manipulation of the independent variable can be done through mental engagement to the members of the different ethnic groups to change their stereotypic mental way of thinking which in turn do away with the stated rules that promotes inequality among the ethnic groups. The dependent variable will be measured by the rate of disparity amongst the different ethnic groups. The quantitative method would be used to take the statistics of the inequality rate through polls, questionnaires, and surveys. My hypothesis on this experiment is that if the mindset of people is changed there will be a reduced rate in aversive racism since there would be no disparity amongst ethnic groups caused by stereotyping and application of certain rules.
