Globalization
Globalization being the spread of jobs, products, information, and technology beyond national borders, it is responsible for inequality rise and decreased wages in some specific sectors of industrialization. Multicultural societies are in existence due to an increase in international migration, business competition is also on the rise. Despite the development of the economy through globalization, a few arguments have been recorded on the negative impacts of globalization, it affects the undeveloped countries by relying on the developed countries to make decisions for them with no power or freedom to argue back or deny to whatever instructions they are given (Khan, 2018).
Government accountability and corruption is my topic of choice, with discrimination being the common ethical issue. On the sharing of the resources from the developed countries, they have always considered those nations that they get favors from which in most cases is also a developed country, ignoring the undeveloped countries. The decision has made the poor nations to be more poor and developed nations to continue developing (Centeno & Newman, 2010). The international exchange of goods and services contributes to economic growth globally, this has been affected by a lack of transparency from the government.
Globalization has contributed to discrimination when it comes to the spreading of resources more so to the underdeveloped countries. Lack of government accountability when it comes to work done by contractors from the government failing to verify invoices or resource distribution contributes to a lack of transparency. Equality should be exercised across all nations without discriminating, otherwise migration to developed countries will increase leading to overpopulation. To solve the dilemma will promote economic growth, people will utilize the home country resources increasing productivity, hence creating a stable financial budget of the country. To solve the ethical dilemma of transparency, the government should promote laws that focus on accessing the documents for verification, which will enhance accountability and transparency while reducing opportunities for corruption (Erkkilä, 2012).
