Cleaning your carpet

Despite the diversity of flooring products available in the market, carpets remain the most popular. This is because unlike other flooring products, carpets require less upkeep and maintenance. Shaving cream
Shaving cream is believed to be the best and most effective for cleaning general stains. It is perfect for cleaning all the spills and splashes that maybe from coffee and soda.
Apply the shaving cream on the stained area and allow it to sit for 40 minutes. Use a clean and dry cloth to clean the stain.
After blotting, spray the area with a mixture of water and white vinegar and wipe the solution with a clean cloth.
Club soda
If you use club soda correctly, it can effectively clean the stains from wine and beer.
Wet a clean piece of cloth with the club soda and then blot the stained area. If the stain is lighter, repeat the process to ensure you get rid of the stain completely.
If the stain proves to be difficult, spray a mixture of water and white vinegar and let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes. Press a dry sponge down to soak up all the diluted stain and the mixture. If the stain has still not gone away repeat the entire process.
Once the stain is gone rinse with clean water and brush the carpet strands with a soft bristle brush. Lay white paper towels on the soaked area and use a phone book to make sure they stay on place.

Hydrogen peroxide
Having blood stains in your carpet does not mean that it will be permanently stained. Hydrogen peroxide is the best and effective option. Loosen the dried stain with a mixture of detergent and lukewarm water. Using a buffer knife, scrape the blood from the carpet.
Pour drops of hydrogen peroxide on the stained area. The area will fizz and foam immediately after mixing with the blood. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes and then blot the hydrogen peroxide with paper towels or a white clean cloth.
Dish soap
Grease stains are most difficult stain to clean. However, dish soap makes grease cleaning fast an effortless. Mix the dish soap with warm water and pour the mixture on the stained area. Blot the stained area with paper towels or a clean white cloth. You may be needed to repeat the process depending on the age and size of the stain.
