Sixth amendment
Question 2
The right to counsel, found in the sixth amendment, refers to the right of a criminal defendant to have a lawyer to assist in their case even if the defendant cannot afford the lawyer (Legal Information Institute, 0AD). Additionally, the sixth amendment allows for the defendant to be plainly informed of the nature of the charges and evidence against them, besides the right to an impartial jury.
