Dependent Variable
The dependent variable that would be valuable to predict using multiple regressions is employee satisfaction. In the place of work, employee satisfaction is paramount because it has an impact on the performance of an employee and the productivity of an organization. When the employees are satisfied, the organization benefits because of their commitment to organizational processes. Employee satisfaction is a dependent variable because it is affected by other factors. Some of the elements are associated with the way the management of an organization treats its employees. In an organization that has a management team that does not look after the needs of the employees, it is a challenge for the employees to be satisfied. In this case, it becomes evident that the behaviors and actions of the management team have an impact on employee satisfaction. The independent variables that I will include in the analysis are leadership, working environment, and organizational policies. Each of the variables has an impact on the satisfaction rate of employees. When the leadership of an organization has the interest of employees at heart, the rate of satisfaction is likely to be high. However, when the leadership does not consider and prioritize the needs of the employees, the employees are not satisfied.
