Research work
Hello Dr. Mooring,
After going through your questions, I realized that there was something I had to do. I am doing research not through the collection of data through surveys in the field but a thorough review of previous literature that has been conducted. Therefore, I must have a method through which I will measure the results of the research articles and as well find a method of analyzing the results to conclude.
To easily measure the results from the research, I will use the journal paper approach. Under this method, I will measure N which is the total number of papers published under my research topic. This method of measurement is the best to use in my case since after a paper is written with a generated new idea, it is peer-reviewed and published hence measure of the productivity of the articles. Again, it is the easiest to use since it involves physical counting of the articles which has also been done.
Since I have several variables to use in my research, analysis of the collected data should be thorough to have a better result that can be used in conclusion about my research topic. Thus, the best way to handle the variables which will be collected from different articles and journals is through correlation. It is through correlation that the connection and relationship between different variables are easily achieved and the connection easily found. Therefore, getting the correlation between the variables will make it possible to have the best result that can be used to give a thorough conclusion on my research topic.
