Career Video Summaries
Preschool teachers care and educate children whose teaching takes more than fun and games since these children are younger than age 5, hence not yet enrolled in kindergarten. As a result, preschool is the essential first experience of play and learning where the teachers play various roles in educating and caring for this group of children (CareerOneStop, 2020). For example, teachers present writing, reading, and other subjects in a manner that young children can comprehend (Maree, 2017). Moreover, to balance the daily activities such as physical activities, playtime, and rest, the teachers organize routines to balance the activities throughout the day (CareerOneStop, 2020). Additionally, these teachers teach the basics of numbers, shapes, colors, language, and social skills as they monitor the children’s progress to share with parents. Subsequently, sharing progress with parents enables early interventions for any concerns. The growth projection of preschool teachers in 10 years from 2014 to 2024 is about 7 percent (CareerOneStop, 2020). This growth is high compared to other occupations due to increased concentration on the significance of early childhood education. Preschool teachers can work in several centers, including childcare centers, private and public schools, and non-profit centers. The requirements for education and training to work as a preschool teacher range from a high school diploma and certification to a college degree.
Again, another essential line of healthcare involves home health aides and personal care aides. Home health aides support the elderly, those that recover from illness, and those living with disabilities (CareerOneStop, 2020). Home health aides get tasked with administering medications and changing dressings as they monitor the health of the client and make reports on progress to licensed staff. On the other hand, personal care aides assist clients with social support, such as daily tasks and self-care, that enable them to participate in their society (CareerOneStop, 2020). Home health aides and personal care aides might assist with routine responsibilities such as dressing, bathing, and feeding. Again, both can involve either part-time jobs or full-time work with schedules based on clients’ needs (CareerOneStop, 2020). The requirements for certified hospice agencies or home health are formal training and certification. Although these careers can be physically and emotionally involving, clients, plus their families, depend on the integrity and skills of personal care and home health aides.

Also, MTF experts offer to counsel, however, these experts concentrates on people and families whose problems are social and relationship-based.
