Reports released by the World Health Organization in 2019 revealed that the maternal mortality rate was about twenty-seven per every one hundred thousand childbirths. Most of the maternal deaths are influenced by circumstances which can be prevented by abortion. These facts have fostered many debates between the pro-choice supporters and the pro-life supporters.

Therefore, this article explains the circumstances where abortion should be the best stance. These instances may include; health-related reasons, unplanned pregnancies, and financial instability.

  • Establish Credibility

Pro-choice supporters argue that every individual is entitled to the fundamental basic right of whether and when to have children. Pro-choice activists believe that abortion can be an option for unplanned pregnancy even though they cannot abort themselves.

 Heath Related Reasons.

  1. Most parents want a better life for babies. Some of the babies are conceived with abnormalities and longtime suffering. Colker, in her book Abortion and Dialogue (1992), many women and female teenagers from the developing countries are the victims of this form of injustice and the best way to eliminate the lifetime psychological trauma is to abort the child. . .
